Today was a good day for me. I cooked marinated Hawaiian chicken, a corn casserole, black beans and cheddar biscuits. All with a nice glass of iced tea. Just me and the husband in the dining room overlooking the garden.
Me of course pondering the deck that should be started this week. Visions of an outdoor room to decorate were feverishly dancing in my head.
I’m enjoying the little birds nest with eggs I bought yesterday that is now setting on the sideboard near our table.
Yum, those cheddar biscuits were good! Only after I was doing the dishes did I stop to think: Now why didn’t I take a photo of all that food to show folks I really do cook once in awhile?
The ambiance both inside and outside the French doors, a grand sight. I so love my cozy little house and garden.

My son took me out for dinner at a Red Lobster, we were out of town for the weekend, hubby was suppose to come but didnt want to at the last minute, that’s ok ….I shopped my little heart out ,filled the car beyond its stretching limits..LOL
