Well, we made a trip to Pier 1 yesterday. And came home with these two outdoor resin chairs and some cushions for the kitchen nook.
I already had purchased four cans of cherry red spray paint to paint the existing ones. But… I’ve been in love with these red chairs ever since I first glimpsed them there.
I loved them so much that I felt compelled to change my blog banner to accommodate them. And if I ever tire of them here, they are good to go outside! What’s not to like?
If you like the smell of coffee, as I do, get some cheap coffee beans and surround some candles with them. I cannot explain how good this combination smells!
Throw a vintage tablecloth on the table, and you’re ready for a good meal.

so cute and a great idea about the coffee. i’m sure as the candle melts down the warm and the coffee really blend well.
Oh, loving the red chairs! I have some neutral ones on my new front porch and you are seriously making me think they should be red.
Beautiful!
Gotta love those red chairs!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia
LOVE the entire room. The chairs are fantastic and love the idea that they can also go outside. The tablecloth and colors in the room make me smile.
Very pretty and springy!
I love it!

Just came across your site – Not even sure how I got here but I’m glad I did. I love your cozy little house. I also quilt, and knit, and I’m also 52 – so you got my attention right away.
Brenda I so love your cozy little house! The new red chairs are perfect. Were they already red or did you paint them? I don’t decorate with red, so I love, love, love looking at your pretty reds and those of my friend Kim’s at Daisy Cottage.
Decoupage is a wonderful idea, and guess what. I had just ordered two decoupage books from Amazon the day before you left your comment! I plan to decoupage some pieces for our shop.
I added you to my inspiring friend’s list and joined as a follower. ♥
There you go flaunting some red! I really like them all painted up. You’ll be able to move them around too.
I never thought about the candle and coffee beans smelling great together. How could they not though.
Brenda,
Your red chairs look great and I can smell the coffee from here! ~Cathy~
I am lovin’ those red chairs! Ahem, if I knew where you lived I might just have to borrow them someday when you are out tree shopping…LOL Uh oh…if they go missing, don’t blame me!
I bet your kitchen smells divine!
Blessings, Sonia
I love those chairs! They are pretty and look comfortable, too. That vintage tablecloth is perfect, too! The whole dining area looks so spacious! Do you take reservations???
Practically perfect in every way!
I think you and I may be kindred spirits…I can’t believe I have never ran across your blog before? I LOVE red and polka dots as well! You and I have similiar tastes! I so hope you don’t mind me adding you to my blog roll! cherry
I adore those red chairs! So pretty!
Brilliant idea with the coffee beans. I’m always looking for something to add around my Grubbies. My Son has allergies so fixins aren’t “do able”. Keep the ideas a coming!
