It is Share A Garden Sunday hosted by Color Outside The Lines.
One of the prettiest creations there is in my opinion is the luscious water lily. Pretty petals suspended above the water, bright as sunshine.
Squirrels and other wild creatures are also part of the garden.
Here in East Texas, there are always the ubiquitous pine trees. (We are, after all, considered the Piney Wood region of the state.)
In my garden, there is always mint. Which graces this table today.
Times for reflection…
Bright colors to start the day on a cheerful note…
Whimsy to make you laugh…
Purple oxalis in bloom…
What’s in your garden today?

Brenda, what a beautiful collection of photographs, and yes – I agree, the water lily is probably one of the most beautiful flowers there is. GORGEOUS! My grandparents lived in Converse, Louisiana when I was a child – so I spent many a summer under the shade of those massive pine trees. Great post, thanks for playing today!
Nice. My vegetable garden is just breaking through and my flower garden is beind taken over by iris. That’s my garden.
What a beautiful garden you have!I love the picture of the pines!
And you have Yard Art!!!! Yea!!!
I love all the photos of your garden and trees. My cousin lives in East Texas, Carthage…when I went to spend a few days with him some years back, I was so glad to get back to my wide, open plains of West Texas. Just wasn’t used to those Piney Woods…felt smothered. :O)
Thanks for sharing such wonderful photos…
OOOOooooooo LoVe your photos! Beautiful. I once had water lilies in my pond; unfortunately the koi at them! Naught fish. **blows kisses** Deborah
I enjoyed your post with its delightful text and photos!
Brenda, Thanks so much for visiting me! Your house is adorable and your photos are absolutely lovely. I particularly liked the fish in the pond pics from last week. It doesn’t seem like you need any more inspiration, but if I gave you a little, I consider that a huge compliment.
Have a blessed Sunday,
Tee
Beautiful! Your garden is lovely! I’d love to have a pond in my garden. Aaah, someday:)
Blessings,
Sandra
Beautiful flowers! I enjoyed seeing them. laurie
you have the most beautiful garden – my poor garden has gone to pot between the deluge of rain and now the triple digit heat.
I love your pics! What a beautiful garden!
Hugs, Lisa
Brenda, Your photos are great! I especially liked your little squirrel. But you can keep him in your yard. I have a squirrel relocation program in my yard. Cute as they are – they dig up my garden and tear apart the feeders and birdhouses. Your little chicken is a a cutie, too. ~ Robyn
Brenda, this is a really beautiful collection of photographs. Your use of color is riveting and the garden is lovely. Blessings…Mary
