That’s so cute. I’ve had a marriage long tendency to leave the iron on, and have been known to get up at 2.00am to check.

For me, it is the iron. And I bought one with auto shut off…I still get up and go look if I unpluged it. Is that because of menopause or age? I thought I was losing my mind!!

Ok Brenda…how did you know I go through this two or three times a week now? I have to remind myself it is menopause and that I haven’t developed OCD over night.

Yes, I see myself becoming my Mother, despite my best efforts! I always make fun of her and her forgetful moments, and now I find myself pushing the lock button on the key fob for the car a couple of times before I ever get into a store!
Uhhh……was I supposed to turn off the iron AND oven????????????
And this is why my curling iron, iron, and hot glue gun all have timers to shut them off automatically!

Whenever we started on a trip, ours was “Did you unplug the iron?” On one trip when I asked my husband that, he reached into the back seat and held up the iron!
