It looks like it was a beautiful day! It’s been years since I went to that festival so it sure brings back memories! Hugs! ♥
I am at a loss for words except one: Stunning!
You brightened my day! It is gloomy and cold where I am. Thanks so much for sharing. Your photos are beautiful.
Great shots. Azaleas are beautiful when they are in full bloom. Tanna at Brick street bungalow has been showing the homes on tour there.
Wow beautiful pictures! Thank you for sharing. Here in Northern Indiana Azaleas are not that hardy and usually only last 2-3 years and each year that get smaller and bloom less then finally do not come back. Love the photos you take!
Very stunning. I can’t imagine all that is in bloom. Beautiful gardens and the homes are spectacular.
Now, there is some medicine for someone with a Spring cold and still looking at snow. Thank you. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5
Beautiful! I love going to display gardens. My husband and I are thinking about going to the Hill Country of Texas in May. Will we be too late for the flowers?
That was very kind of you. I love Azalea. In my area just a few are blooming, mostly against houses.
- Joy
Thank you! Thank you!!! I have been yearning to see these beautiful flowers but with all the projects around here there was no way we can drive to Tyler. I do so want to do this next year, though. I think the last time I saw Tyler in bloom like this was nearly 15 years ago! It’s not that far from DFW! NEXT year! And thanks for the lovely photos THIS year!!
Awww! Thanks for sharing – beautiful !!! I love the azaleas in bloom. I have lots of buds on mine, but only a couple of blooms, as our temps have really dropped with clouds and rain, and this next week not very promising.
Have a great week.
Thanks for posting such great pictures…I drove through part of the trail this past Friday…so very pretty…..
do you know that I have never walked down through the garden part of the trail…You know the one that is down from the park on the RED BRICK road…
I want to challenge myself to take the time this next week to do this..
Thanks….
Shug
Wow Brenda, the azaleas are beautiful! I am chomping at the bit…if it doesn’t get out of the 30′s around here nothing is going to bloom. Can’t wait to see such beauty around here.
Ahhh~~~~Spring~~~makes a heart swoon~~~Living in the south does have some very nice benefits:)Blessings dear friend~~Shine
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos. sandi
We folks here in south GA love our azaleas! They are blooming right now and are just beautiful. Your pictures are beautiful too.
Everything looks so beautiful Brenda! Looks like Spring is in the air, where you are, and things are warming up.
We sure don’t see many azalea bushes around here so I just loved these pictures! So beautiful! Thanks, Brenda!
Hope you have a great week! XO
Hi Brenda,
Here in Northeast Louisiana, my azaleas are almost in full bloom. I have over 50 in my yard and will be adding a few more this year. But where do I get the yellow ones? No one around here carries them but if they will grow in Tyler they will grow here. Your pictures are absolutely stunning!!!
BTW, I saw where there’s another Judy Miller in Indiana who reads your blog–small world.
Judy in LA
Wow! That’s beautiful!
Oh Brenda ~ the pictures are just gorgeous. I would love to vist there. Just breath taking
so gorgeous, i could just get lost in all the beautiful colors!
All the shots are gorgeous but #4 and the last made my heart go all pitter-patter. I’m such a sucker for an old white house and bright pops of floral color.
Wow – these photos are amazing. They would make gorgeous greeting or note cards!
Gorgeous! Thanks for taking the trouble!
BEAUTIFUL!! I thought of you over the weekend. You mentioned pink azaleas a few days ago, and on my way back home from work, I saw plenty of azalea bushes, pink and other colors, just a vibrant as these you are sharing with us today. For us, or at least for me
), a clear sign of summer in Guatemala! They need sun and warmth, and that’s exactly what we are enjoying at the moment.
Thanks for sharing!
have a lovely day.
Pictures are just great, Brenda. What beautiful spots you picked to photo!
I think it’s spring in Texas!!! What a glorious sight these flowers is. We’ll be in NC next week and they should be in full bloom as well. I always look forward to the furniture market in spring- I get to see such pretty flowers. Great photos, Brenda. ~ Sue
Azaleas always remind me of my childhood. My yard was full of them, scarlet red, white, pink ones! Such a beautiful flowering plant with a little maintenace. xo,
I love gardens and these pictures good so beautiful.
Great photos! I love azaleas!xx
Brenda the azaleas are absolutely beautiful!
I must remember to try an azalea this year. Those are absolutley beautiful. I love when they plant a couple with varying shades of pink together.
Oh Brenda! Just what this Michigan girl needed, a good dose of brilliant blooms! Does anything beat masses of flowers in the spring? I think not! Thanks for sharing :>)
Brenda, I’ve never been to Tyler. These photos certainly do make me want to drive up for the Azalea Festival sometime. What gorgeous photos. The azaleas are in bloom here, but nothing like this. I always thought Tyler was famous for its roses, but these azaleas are amazing. ~ Sarah
It’s been a long time since I was in Tyler — and I had forgotten how pretty it is, especially in the Spring. I remember a lot of roses, too. Your photos are gorgeous — thanks for sharing.
Goodness Brenda you’re a lot further ahead of us with spring! We were still getting freezing night temperatures as of the other night…I’m so sick of winter. I love the photo’s of all the flowers…I can’t wait to start tilling up the ground inside our picket fence and get that planted. I NEED color! I love the size of your photo’s…I need to figure out what to do about that. Thanks for giving us a taste of what’s to come here in our part of Kansas Brenda…I guess spring really will show up one of these days
