Welcome Wagon Friday 4/8/11

It took a bit of cleaning up the yard after that massive wind on Monday. So that's what I've been up to.

I've got a lot for you to check out this week. Oodles of lovelies!

My picks for Welcome Wagon Friday this week are:

The Fisherman's Cottage is a blogger that lives on a very windy East coast of England in a small fisherman's cottage. Just five minutes from the sea. Here's a glimpse of her blog...

The photo of these flowers is so serene. I personally think this shade is going to be popping up all over in decorating.

A Vintage Affaire is Sherrie's blog. Go visit her and see how two altered spoons changed the destiny of her life. She's done what many of us women merely dream about. Here's a glimpse...

Isn't that just perfection? And to think it helped launch a new career.

A Pocketful Of Blue is Joanne's blog. (Don't you love that blog name?) She is a stay at home mom in Ohio. Here is a peak at her house...

See the helper up in the desk? Perhaps that is her personal assistant, you think?

I love her light and tranquil blue room.

Shabby French Cottage is a blogger named Mikey, a 20-something who loves all things French. He hails from Virginia. Here's a peak at his just-about-finished $1200 kitchen makeover...

I do believe he's got the magic touch!

Please send the Welcome Wagon their way when you get some free time. And tell them friends are here for them from all over the world.

And new to Cozy Little Shoppes this week is Linda and Liana of  Itsy Bits & Pieces. Linda is having a great giveaway on my blog that I posted about two days ago. So get your comment in before Saturday!

You can visit Linda's wonderful blog at Itsy Bits & Pieces.

These two sell on three different Etsy shoppes. They also have Romantic Farmhouse and also Sweet Fancies. And they participate in the wonderful Junk Bonanza in Shakopee, Minnesota each September.

Liana, a graphic designer, has lots of fun treasure hunting and creating art with mom Linda. A very talented team.

Here's some of the things from their featured shoppe:

I adore sewing pretties! And what a gorgeous necklace.

We also have Jen from the blog Muddy Boot Dreams. Jen is a very talented photographer who lives a few minutes from the ocean in White Rock, BC, Canada.

I have a an enlarged photograph-turned-print I ordered from Jen about a year ago. It is framed in white and in my beloved garden room. Oh, how I love to look at that blue and white work of art!

Jen's shoppe can be found here. Now let me share some of her art with you...

Jen is inspired by flowers and outdoor settings. She captures evocative images in a natural light.

I must add a few photos from her blog, because her flowers absolutely mesmerize me in their beauty and texture...

And then we have Barbara Falzone. Barbara's business venture is Park Lane Jewelry.

Barbara is from Staten Island, NY. She retired from nearly 30 years in the banking industry. She was looking for something to do on a part-time basis from home. She learned about Park Lane. And the rest, as they say, is history!

Here are a couple of images from Barbara's shoppe...

I think that bracelet is dazzling! Now here's a necklace that perked my interest. I just adore that deep blue.

Welcome, ladies, to Cozy Little Shoppes!

If you'd like more info about joining, it's listed at the top of my blog under the banner.

Hi Brenda, hope you got everything cleaned up in the garden. I just had to sweep the balconies here again because of the dust storms. And then our blue skies turned to gray and we had a tiny bit of rain. For a couple of weeks now, when I edit posts before publishing, all of my returns are removed and so that text and pictures are all jumbled together. Quite aggravating to say the least. Don't know what is up with that. Hope it gets worked out as I am tired of having to go back and separate everything with returns in the proper place. :/ Have a great day. Tammy
