Welcome Wagon Friday 7/29/11

It’s hotter than blazes here in Texas, so I’m staying in as much as possible. I think it’s hot most everywhere right now.

So lets welcome some new bloggers…

Sew Sweet Violet is Jooles from the UK. Here’s a look at where she lives and blogs…

Doesn’t that photo just make you smile?

Now to some of what she makes…

Button Bird Designs is Angela’s blog. She lives in Huntersville, North Carolina. And she makes all sorts of stuff. Let’s look…

Just look at all that pretty eye candy. Now feast your eyes on this cutie…

I will be saving my cans!

A Cozy Cottage In The City is a blogger from the Pacific Northwest. She’s just getting started…

She’s looking for inspiration right now…

I’m in that “looking for inspiration” mood myself. When I finally get it figured out where I’m going to be, I’ll know more  about what I’m going to have to work with.

In the meantime, please go over and give these three new bloggers a how-do-you-do for me. Tell them there’s always room for new friends in our blog neighborhood.

  1. Oh, such cheerfulness on a dreary day!! That sofa and chair in Cottage in the City are wonderful. In fact, I think think they are exactly like my chairs!! Have a good weekend, girlfriend!

  2. Funny, I just ventured over to the last one before I read your list. I will check out the others.
Staying home alot these days as well, this weather doesn’t agree with me……and I know it’s alot hotter there.

About your post……maybe you won’t need them afterwards. I would be worried as well about those costs. Somehow there has to be a way that you get the things you need. (((((HUGS))))

  3. I just visited all our new neighbors and each of them is a delightful new friend. Thanks for telling us so we could meet them too!

I hope you manage to stay cool (ish!)

  5. I love all the pics!!xx

  6. Hi Brenda,

Thank you so much for featuring my blog, I really appreciate it! Thank you also to Stacey @a sort of fairytale for telling you about me! I was pleasantly surprised this afternoon, when she (and you) left a comment to tell me! ;) I look forward to meeting everyone!

    Hugs from SoCali,
    Jessie

  7. It is HOT here too! We had a little rain shower about an hour ago (not enough to move the rain gauge) but it was just enough to turn outside into a sauna! Hope I don’t have to get outside for anything the rest of the day!
    Stay inside and keep cool!

  8. I always love the day you post new blogs for us to explore. Always fresh and a treat.

  9. Thanks Brenda- I am anxious for you to know where you are going to land too. Living in limbo is an awful feeling- xo Diana

  10. As your Louisiana neighbor, we are still feeling the “heat” too. Let us know when you figure out what’s ahead for you.
Sometimes life is bumpy, so hang on tight, Friend.

  11. I saw those flowers in cans and thought they were so cute!

It’s actually not too bad today – hot for sure, but there’s a lovely little breeze. We’ll see if it lasts!
