I finally have 13 Lollipop Hoot Owls ready to be adopted. Four are on reserve. So please read instructions included in the shop on my sidebar to make sure you don’t choose one of those.
I got out and got some snapshots out on my street this morning.
Mostly these spring flowers were part of a patch of weeds. Did the birds plant them for us?
If they did, I’m sure grateful to them.
Well, it’s back to Hooterville for me. I have owls and lollipop pillows to embellish. I shall sew pink owls next.
It is such fun to look at all those owl eyes looking at me as I type this.
You see, they are awaiting adoption right here by my desk. In what could be a big owl bassinet. But instead, is a garden plant stand with one of my quilts for them to sleep on.
Brenda, they are wonderful! I think it would be cute to do a couple of sleepy owls, or winking owls…just a thought!

Hi Brenda! They’re all so cute! Somehow, they seem to all have a different expression on their faces. But deep down, they all seem to have that look of wanting someone to take them in and love them! Okay, again I feel like crying! Oh, I’m a big cry baby anyways! It’s just that I see so much anticipation in that plant stand! I don’t know how you do it but you have the knack of instilling love in those precious faces!
And, Brenda, you’ve been working so hard, it’s unbelievable the amount of merchandise you have produced in such a short period of time. You must feel so fulfilled! There’s nothing like the high of having successfully created something. You, yourself, are a true inspiration!

Brenda they are adorable! They look so colorful and happy in their little owl bassinet! I’m sure they will be adopted soon!
You have a very colorful imagination and it’s coming to life — well, OK, the owls aren’t alive, but, you get what I mean. They’re great! As for the flower photos, my daughter helped a friend transplant some flowers, and she said they moved some “great hyacinths.” I told her they are grape hyacinths, since they look like a little cluster of grapes. She said “Oh, that makes so much more sense!”
