I am a lover of words. I believe morning coffee is mandatory. I think red is a neutral. I feel most comfortable with a camera strapped around my neck. I believe the earth laughs in flowers. I catch the scent of them as I walk by looking for my next subject to photograph. And I pause to laugh with them...

Perfectly said! I can’t imagine life without my sweethearts. I got a real smile when I saw those upright ears! How cute!!
Tears are coming down…exactly how I feel about my Lucas and my Mateo. This understanding between them and myself is so unique…and so priceless! I feel happy that there is someone else – you! – who knows exactly and shares this connection.
What more could we ask for in life, than animals who love us no matter what..Who feel our needs and ask for nothing more but a pat on the head, a hug and a kiss, a cozy bed and something to fill their tummies..
They don’t gossip about us or love someone else more.
Your pictures of the Robin and Cardinal are magnificent~~~~just like I could reach in to my computer screen and touch them..
Your cozy blue house really looks like home now.. Your flowers are doing so nicely..
You inspire me, everyday, with how you are moving on and enjoying your home, pets, flowers, sewing and Mother Nature.
Continued happiness, Brenda,
Charlotte
Particularly beautiful pics in your post today. Oh, the unconditional love of a dog. What would we do without them?
oh! yes yes yes I agree with all you have said and so well describe…..your two little dogs look adorable. Enjoy your new home how exciting molding it into your space.
Keep well

Your post today made me teary! I love dogs so much. Have a good day, Jean
Your fur babies are precious …we adore ours..they are the best! Your flower vignette looks lovely. I know what you mean about thinking about garden plans, changes and what I have to do out there! Always have more ideas than I do resources or time! Nice to dream though!

Two better buddies a woman couldn’t have!

What a beautiful post! I felt the same way about my fur baby I was lucky to have for 14 years.
I absolutely agree. I don’t know what I’d do without my little Max. You are lucky to have your 2 little guys. Wonderful post!
It’s called unconditional love, isn’t it?!
Love this post Brenda. You captured exactly what pets mean to them. Total unconditional love and devotion.
Have a great day
Such adorable puppies!! So cute!! Happy Monday! xo Heather
I couldn’t agree with you more Brenda!! They truly hold a special place in our hearts!
Well said! I don’t know what I would do without mine! The pictures of yours are beautiful!
Yes, I understand and agree completely. I have a little faraway dream that someday my husband and I will have a ranch type place where we keep rescued dogs. I can’t imagine anything better than living with an entire gang of dog babies.
My Tinley is a light in my heart.
How sweet and true Brenda. We love our fur babies.
Erin
Your pups are precious Brenda..Isn’t it amazing how they are more loving and compassionate than a lot of human beings are..My cats are this way too..when I am sad or start to cry..they seem to know and come to me with hugs and love..It is such a wonderful feeling isn’t it?? You 3 take care of each other..Hugs!
Adore your galvanized buckets used for container gardening. So lovely!
Good old Charlie and Abi! Such good friends!
I posted about my Frida today, although she is in the doghouse today! But I love her, and Beans, too!
Lovely post Brenda, they are such fun to have around and yes they know our moods! Love the ears by the way!
Have a great week, Sue
Brenda so sweet and well said. I don’t know what I would do without my sweet Charlie. Hugs, Linda
Charlie and Abi are so precious looking! I love Milo and Layla to pieces and when I am home alone, I carry on quite a conversation with them!
Your pots of flowers look healthy and pretty! I do the same thing, look around my yard and imagine what would look good where! I chip away a little at a time when I can…it can be expensive.
Hope you have a good week. It’s raining cats and dogs here!
XO,
Jane
The last picture is priceless! Did you get them together or did one come first? You have to tell us the story of how you came to find them.
So true…I’d be lost without my feline furbabies. I have memories of my parents sitting in the shade with their dog (and the neighbor’s dog). All watched the world go by unless something caught the interest of the dogs!
Such a cute post. They are such good doggies. I love their ears…..I am so glad that you have them. I love mine as well.
You are so right! I love my little “comrades” too!
Well put! and i LOVE the last picture of these two…just adorable..
Lucky girl you are to have 2 such sweeties by your side. Thru thick and thin, no matter what…always on your side!
How sweet and cute your two fur babies are! I don’t have dogs, but I do have three cats who are my companions and so loved. Thanks for such a sweet post!
I understand your closeness to your babies very well. My little guy a bit bigger than your’s, he’s a golden retriever but let me tell you he has a heart that is gold and as big as the sun.
He’s my buddy, my confidant, my best friend. I thank God everyday for the wonderful furry friends He has given us.
Oh your post truly touched my heart. I too have a companion just like yours. I do not know what I would do without my Toby, he, like yours, is always by my side, happy when I am, sad when I am. I don’t think I could exist without my best friend by my side. Give your two big hugs from me.
How sweet! And I love that you appreciate them so much and have so much love to give!
I feel the same way about my 2 Yorkies. They are the best little companions and much fun, always happy to see us come home. They are ever watchful and like you said, on guard. Anyone steps foot on the front steps and my dogs know it long before me. They have their own personalities. I was always the dog lover but not my husband. Today he commented that he never knew he could love a dog the way he does ours.
Susanne
You are so right!! Our sweet and precious furry babies are so loyal and protective! They are blessed to be in a loving and warm, sweet home like yours! Have a great Monday evening oxox
This post brought tears to my eyes, Brenda. I have not replaced the last pets we lost and it is just touches my heart to know how much a part of your life these sweet babies are. Blessings- xo Diana
So true, Brenda… lovely post. I’d never want to be without mine.
Our relationships with our pets is unserpassed by any relationship we have with humans. They understand us on a whole different level and complete us like no other can. I am glad your little ones bring you so much joy and comfort. This was a beautiful post.
Your photo + word essay is very much appreciated.
Your photo’s are amazing!!!! I too would be lost without our little beagel
Yes Brenda, they bring unbridled unstoppable joy. When we got Shelley puppy we fell in love and continue to marvel at him. He grows every day and I spoil him. I let him cart Joe’s shoes all over the old house today. I am bad:)
Well, you know how I feel about Rose the Rat Terrier! She’s not a pet, she’s family. A scratch on the ears for Charlie and Abi from me! xxoo
Hi Brenda,
Abergail and Charlie Ross are lucky to have a human Companion like you. Your love for them is special and that makes them love you more.
Your photos are lovely..especially the orange chested bird.
God Bless
Barb from Australia
You are right. They are precious and the best of friends. I miss my sweet girl, but sometimes I still feel her presence close by. Have a wonderful day, Brenda.
Hugs,
Laura

Brenda my daughter’s dog does that to us at night. Good friends are our 4 legged kids.
What a wonderful post Brenda! Yes what would we ever do without our furry family members. Your two sweet hearts are absolutely adorable…look at those ears! It’s true…they seem to understand us and sense our moods. They are true blue friends who love us no matter what. Enjoy your little fur babies
