LOVE IT!! I have one little Hen and chick. What are the names of the ones you have in your pot? They sell them on Ebay. not sure where I could get them around here. You can email me if you want Brenda!!
I love succulents, we see so many of them here in Phoenix. I have had so so luck, going to be trying this pine cone trick!
Decades ago, when I was a young whippersnapper and working the front desk at a fancy resort (while in college), they had a wonderful woman as their head groundskeeper. These were lush and elegant grounds. I so admired her, working out there all day, tending to the gardens. You remind me of her with your amazing green thumb. I’d love you to come here and revamp my outdoor spaces!
I ADORE succulents too! NEVER thought of using pinecones in the bottom – what a smartie pants you are! xoxo

Oh, I wanna do this! Looks like fun! Have a happy week!
I like all kinds of potted plants, but I’ve never planted succulents. Thank you for the nudge toward that.
Great mix! I need to pick up some hens & chicks. I really like the spider variety, at least that’s what I think it’s called.
I love succulents! They are fun to grow and don’t need much care. Yours are really nice.

I love succulents too..they grow really well in my kitchen window above the sink..Your terracotta bowl is nice..
I just discovered succulents thanks to Pinterest. Now I want a succulent garden!
I love succulents for their shapes and low water needs here in our hot summer climate. Your garden is coming along Brenda. Little by little.
Succulents are fun. I made a half pocket door wreath the other day with some. Now waiting for it to grow a bit.
Love it, and I’ve been thinking succulants for some time – do they do well indoors? Thanks!
I’ve never done succulents but these look so pretty I must try some. Guess they’ll not require lots of watering, so I can go away and leave them without stressing like I do over my other pots!
Lovely Brenda.
What a pretty mini-garden. My brother loves succulents and I think a pot like yours would be a perfect gift for his garden. Thanks for the inspiration. Patty
I love succulents. I have a few tiny ones in separate little containers. I like how you clustered yours together. Where’d you get that terra cotta bowl?
Brenda, I have been wanting to plant a succulent garden for a while and have never gotten around to it. This year I will, thanks to your inspiration. Very lovely
This is a great project!! I love succulents!! They are so sweet and small!! Have a great day!! xo Heather
Love it Brenda

I’ve never tried succulents before! But this looks like such an easy project!
Thanks for the inspiration.
blessings,

I love succulents. They are even pretty in between the roses. You can’t beat them for low maintenance either.
I had a pair of my husband’s old work boots filled once with hens and chicks. I put holes in various spots on the boots and filled them with good potting soil and the succulents. In no time they were so pretty. My grandma begged a boot off of me, the one I had left finally rotted away, but it is a great way to recycle boots that would otherwise be thrown in the trash.

The terracotta planter looks lovely with these succulents – thanks for sharing the idea – I have never really given much thought to them, but they look good mixed together like this.
Have a great week Brenda!

Lovely idea, I think the succulents look wonderful grouped together in a pot…and what a good idea to put the pine cones in for drainage…I never thought of that!!
Have a happy week, Brenda.

Love the pine cone idea. Your pot looks beautiful
Too cute, Brenda…think I will do a pot, too. Once I get it planted, does it need a LOT of sun or part sun, part shade?
