Favorite Table Settings

I thought it would be fun to look back on some of my favorite tablescapes and settings.

You might add a centerpiece of candles and seashells in a favorite bowl, like the one shown above.

Maybe you’re hosting your book club. Well, add some books to the centerpiece.

It’s so much fun to layer. Consider using a lap quilt (or bigger) to use as a table cloth instead of ironing a fancy one.

This is a great look, above, for a luncheon with the gals. Nice and casual for the girls.

Don’t forget a little whimsy with your table settings. Perky orange adds an element of fun.

My dear cousin wove these blue and white place mats for me. Love them!

Who doesn’t want breakfast with a touch of vintage class? As in small finger towels used as napkins.

Fresh fruit in a pretty vintage bowl can complete your table with the simplest of centerpieces.

For a nice romantic evening meal for two, bring out the candles and the pretty goblets. It will add some elegance to your table.

  1. You just have a magic touch! I would never think of placing a cookie cutter on a table with a bowl of checkers next to candle sticks! ~sigh~ And your table settings are to die for. I can’t mix and match colors and different patterns together and have it look so nice! You definitely have a “designer gene”; lucky you!

  2. Great ideas for table settings! I like the candles on the stacked cake plates.
