Your garden blooms are so pretty.
I love morning glories too. Your flowers are all so pretty.
How are you doing friend?
XO Kris
Gorgeous colors, Brenda. My hibiscus is still blooming (it blooms in cycles and the blooms only last about 24 hours, sometimes more, but gorgeous it is). My plumbago is still going strong, as is my lantana. I’ve neglected everything … just too hot to enjoy it.
Love your morning glories! I think next year I will plant some for sure. Right now not much is blooming, but the Rose of Sharon does have lovely flowers on it. I guess I should take some pics! LOL!!! Hugs, Linda
love, adore the morning Glorys too. My heart swells with the blooms. So unpretentious.
Have a blessed day.
Viola
They are enchanting. I have roses, clematis, begonias, and still hydrangeas blooming.
Hello there… My farm I used to own in Illinois was called Morning Glory Farm…as when I grew up there and most of my life, there were Morning Glories growing up the electric wires that went up the side of the old farm house. I always have some. I still have Hosta, Salvia, Blue Caryopteris. Heliopsis, Moon Flowers, Roses, Coreopsis, Larkspur, Butterfly Bush, Garlic Chives, and my annuals still blooming. Are you about done with your healing???
The morning glories are glorious!
Great looking pics
Brenda after seeing your morning glories it hit me I never planted mine this year, and never noticed either. LOL
Yours are beautiful:)
I used to spend time pulling my neighbor’s morning glories from their invading my yard and wrapping around all my plants. I never thought of them as beautiful until I saw yours. Not quite sure I would plant them, though. The orange zinnia is gorgeous. Judy did a good job. xo
Brenda, I love all those pretty colors. The Sun peeping through looks sweet. Smiles, Susie
The morning glories I planted beside the chicken run have started to climb it and a few blossoms are showing. I have Claudia on RSS now. ~ Maureen
Hey Brenda – your garden looks beautiful and Judy is a love for helping you to enjoy it!
My garden is looking a little tired but the rose of sharon that I planted last week is looking lovely.
I’ve got Claudia set up on Google Reader now so I go in there first and to the rest of the blogs
Those are beautiful! My morning glories just never took off this year. I have one today
What’s your secret?
Brenda your morning glories look gorgeous!! Love the pic with the face of the sun.
… beautiful morning glories!!… I haven’t had such luck with them.
Ah Brenda,
Purple morning glories, they were what my grandpa grew at 521 Lake Street on the while picket fence and gate in the backyard and the side of the garage……good memories, thank you for the photos and I hope you will be out there in your backyard soon!
Sandy
I have pink morning glories. I should send you some seeds. How nice that you can get out of the house now.
I am a huge fan of morning glories and have them everywhere. I planted 11 one gallons one summer and now I am surrounded by the little guys. It’s time to pull them back so they will spring up next year. Your zinnias take my breath away. The colors are so lucious. I’m glad they are still going strong for you.
JUst lovely…they are so pretty!
Love the morning glories and zinnias. Less so the hostas–slug food around here
Those morning glories are soooooo beautiful! And the zinnias too! Sorry to say I am not looking at much of anything colorful this year because of the drought. I never planted any flower pots for my deck and didn’t even bother fussing over it either. Every spring I have to fight the raccoons. They tear up the pots. My neighbor had to fight them off from her hummingbird feeder. They were thirsty because it was so dry and they don’t respect anything. In the past we have trapped them and took them down to the river. They do get pretty mean and rabies is always a worry.

I have always loved that sun sign that you have in your garden. Is it metal or ceramic?
I love morning glories also. But when they replant in other spaces of the garden and take over. I haven’t planted any for many years and once in a while I will see a sprout. I have to pluck it or it will take over. Hope you are healing well. Hope I haven’t missed a update on your recovery.
Morning Glories are so friendly…so lovely! Nothing like a sweet, quiet morning in a garden!
Love,
Sue
