I clearly have “barnyard” on the brain.
Well, mixed with a little of the beach, with my starfish. Who ever heard of farmhouse and beach style going together? Well, now you have!
Is there anything wrong with mixing styles, do you think? I mean, is the decorating police going to give me a citation?
Abi says she’d bite them if they came anywhere near mama’s crazy vignettes. And you can tell she’s loaded for bear, now can’t ya?
Her brother’s ready to ride posse, as you can see.

Love your little barnyard. Love those cute chickens and yes, you can decorate with anything your heart desires. There is no right or wrong way to decorate ~ as long as it makes your heart sing
Your vignette is so much fun and so creative. Not crazy at all. I think you started a new trend with your farmhouse beach style.
Those chickens are too cute. You’ve done it again!
Hi Brenda!
Mix it up all you want! If you can’t do what you want in the privacy of your home then when can you?! I have a very eclectic style going on in my home. That’s why I don’t really care for my new open floor plan. I love to have nooks and crannies so I can have little vignettes! Your home has a lot of energy
That’s a good thing!

Love it! It all flows together in my opinion
Love your poochies, I’m dogsitting my parents 2 yorkies right now and they are fighting over my lap as we speak!
Loaded for bear!…ha ha ha!
Pat
I like those little chickens… I don’t mind the starfish either.
I’m not the decorator police…so I think it’s safe to call off the dogs.
I love your sweet chickens! And your pup, of course, is adorable too!
I don’t know but there are a lot of chickens just running around in Key West, FL…just saying.
Who says there are no farms at the beach ?!?
xoxo
:p.s. if those babies are ‘loaded’ for bears, hope they are itty bitty ones:
Sure I’ve heard of chickens and starfish… that would be chicken of the sea!
I want those chickens, Brenda. They are some kind of CUTE, and I want those puppies, too. Yes, I can tell they are guarding. LOL!
Love to you this morning and always,
XO,
Sheila
Well you know I love my barnyard friends especially the chickens. Keep it up. Barnyard right through Christmas.
It looks like you have every type of decor around you that you love. What’s wrong with that? Not one thing ! The more of the things you love the better.. I love your cow and chickens.. Your love of the Sea fits right in..
I know your babies would protect you from anything or anyone who tried to “mess” with you. They are two sweet “kids”..
Have a wonderful weekend.. I hope you’ll be finding more barnyard critters the next time you get out and about..

Hi Brenda,
How adorable are those hens! Who says you can’t mix styles! I’ve been obsessed with my hens this week (and posted about it!)and on a trip to the city yesterday, discovered a fabulous set of kitchenware called “Happy Hens” by David Mason Design- simply gorgeous. Check it out: http://www.davidmasondesign.co.uk. I’m in love.
Have a great weekend!

I think that anything goes if it speaks to our heart…and I’m loving your farmhouse beach style!!
Have a great weekend.

Carol
That is one vicious looking dog, Brenda. I have been tempted to call the decorating police over things like Christmas decorations still left up in people’s yards in April, but I think barnyard and beach are perfect together. Hope you have a great day.
Hugs,
Laura
Really cute Brenda! Thank you for joining me at HSH!
