The mantel is full of farm house Christmas. Complete with a little wreathe Judy brought me to hot glue between the windows of the rustic house. Chickens are cluck-clucking across the red shelf filled with white stoneware pitchers.
And I just felt like lighting some candles in celebration of getting it done.
This may be the first time you’ve seen my couch without a quilt. I made these pillow covers about a year ago. And decided recently to pull them out and use them. But I’ll be showing my bedroom redo soon, and I have plenty of quilts to see in there.
Ah, I love the warmth of the candles and the scents, cinnamon and vanilla, wafting through the house.

Love the candlelight Brenda. Cute in the muffin tin. Love the red penny rug too. Did you make it?
Pretty!! I had to get up and go light a candle.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas– very nice Brenda. Love all your candles–warm and inviting. ♥
Very pretty candles are a nice touch.

Gorgeous decorations……I love candlelight
Your home IS cozy
It all looks delightful:) Nothing better than Farm House decorating!
I love your farmhouse style Christmas touches. Are those votives in a muffin pan? Very clever!
You have me so inspired…I have lots of company next week…but December 10th…can’t wait to start….have lots of candles that I have not used in years..THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Your mantel looks perfect, Brenda! The colors add a festive all on their own. I love your little farm creatures! And your candles add so much warmth to your room. Is there a discount place where you buy your candles? I am very stingy about burning mine since they are so expensive. I burn them for the smell so I can’t just buy the cheapo barely smelling candles from the Dollar Tree! lol! Also, I am sending you an email with a question I have. Have a great evening…I’m watching Christmas movies!
XO,
Jane
Everything looks so pretty and cozy! Love your ironstone! I bet those candles smell amazing!

Beautiful Brenda. The candles are special.
It looks like the beginnings of a Merry Christmas here, Brenda. Are you sure you weren’t a stylist in a former life for the wonderful department store windows that I remember seeing in the 1950s? Thank you for letting us see your farmhouse Christmas living room.
I always love seeing your home when the candles are all lit…so warm and cozy! Enjoy your weekend!

Merry Christmas, Brenda, in your cozy litttle “farmhouse”. You have created a “dreamscape” with all of your favorite, personal, meaningful lovelies.
I wish we could all knock on your door, say “SURPRISE” and come in for a cup of coffee/tea/cider and some Christmas cake/cookies.. That would be an Open House of Christmas joy to remember.
Best wishes, Charlotte
Did I miss the post naming the pillow winner? I can’t find it.
You’re an amazing decorator, Brenda.
Wow, Brenda, your room is filled with so much charming eye candy that I need to keep going back to make sure I haven’t missed anything! I could just curl up on that sofa and stare at all your lovelies and the beautiful candles aglow!
Candle glow and sweet Christmas decor make for a lovely room! I’m going to finish my living room tomorrow and light some candles also!
hugs, Linda
Your house looks very festive!! I am just now catching up on my favorite blogs after being absorbed by my Granddaughters wedding for the last month. They were married Nov. 24. Your bedroom is coming along very nicely.
Oh…the candles! I love all the soft light that glows in your cozy little house. Not only are candles a delicate source of light, but, they have such a wonderful fragrance.
I really like your new arrangement with your tv off to the side. It gives you so much more opportunity to create a focal point of beauty and balance.
I’m so glad it’s finally December. I always look forward to featuring all my red pretties.
Blessings, my friend.
