Fall Splendor

Judy was kind enough to take me to the Tulsa Rose Gardens so I could take some photos. Yes, there are still roses blooming!

And I think Tulsa has hit its pinnacle of gorgeous fall leaves.

The colors are so beautiful they look like a painting.

Mother Nature is the most wonderful artist we have.

Have a glorious Wednesday!

Your pictures are inspiring.. Most all of the trees in my neighborhood have shed their leaves. There are certainly no roses blooming.
A lot of raking needs to be done in my yard. I guess it will get done this weekend.
I’m glad that you and Judy could visit the Rose garden..
    Charlotte

    • I love these outings. Judy is busy and can’t do this a lot. But I so appreciate the times she carves out to do this for me. She knows how much I love to take photos.
      Brenda

  3. Judy knows that your spirit needs refreshing….what a great place to do that in.

Now my forgetful mind can’t remember if I asked you if you get snow?

    Jen

  4. Hi Brenda..wow!!! is it really Wed already?I love roses and I so LOVE all your beautifully gorgeous pictures you posted today…just stunning!! Judy is such a sweet friend to you~You are so lucky to have such a cherished friend as her…God sent her to you you do know that don’t you???You are right where you should be at this moment in time…Love ya! Carol

  5. Autumn has its own special beauty and it looks like Tulsa gets its fair share, Brenda. Most of the leaves are gone from the trees here.

  6. Your photos are stunning! Most all trees are bare here (northern IL) now. :-(

  7. Brenda,
    Absolutely stunning photography!

    Carol

  8. Gorgeous!

  9. Wow, your photos are so beautiful. You have a great talent. I wish I lived closer…I’d take you to the Rose Garden to get some photos myself! Have a wonderful day sweet Brenda! Jean

  10. What a wonderful job of capturing Mother Nature’s art.

  11. Brenda what gorgeous photos! After all the ‘politics’ of the last months and then yesterday, these are refreshing and clean and make me feel good! I’m just glad the race is over and hopefully we can move forward! Hugs, Linda

  12. So pretty! I have a few roses blooming right now too, and until last week, daylilies! Isn’t that crazy? The Rose Garden looks like it’s amazing.

  13. So gorgeous. We are still so warm here. The garden loves but I however want some cool weather.

  14. Love that first image, Brenda!

  15. Brenda, all your photos are beautiful, but I especially love the first one! I could sit on that bench all day and be perfectly happy. So glad you were able to spend some time outside in such beautiful surroundings, it must have felt so good!

  16. What a beautiful place Tulsa Rose Gardens is!!

  17. These pics are amazing, my fave is the one looking down into the leaves on the tree. And of course the bench, just gorgeous! Y’all are behind us in the left department, ours are virtually finished and the family has already bagged a million, with many millions more to be bagged. I think leaves on the ground are our payment for the glorious display we get, a very reasonable price ;)

    • I like to get what I call “that unexpected shot.” Which sometimes means just a bit of something. A bit can often make more impact than the whole.
      Brenda

  18. Gorgeous photos! Someday I’ll be that good (I hope).

    Judy

  19. You got some really great shots, Brenda. Fall is in all it’s splendor there in Tulsa. I’m so glad you are getting out and about after being so cooped up all summer long. It must feel wonderful!

    XO,
    Jane

  20. How sweet of Judy, I wish I lived closer to you two!

I am enjoying this late fall we are having in Oklahoma, this time last year the trees were almost bare……And I am really enjoying the warmer then normal temps..even though we know Winter is surely going to come in with a bang, just this morning I was thinking hmm… almost the middle of November, and before we know it February and March will be here and we can play and plant flowers, then I was thanking the Good Lord for the nice mild weather so far!

    Beautiful photos Brenda

  21. You’re right, there’s so much beauty in nature. Your photos are, as always, stunning!

Thanks for sharing these georgous photos Brenda! My favorite is the first one. I would love to sit on that bench and enjoy that beautiful view. I live in southeastern PA and we were without power most of last week. This is just the pick me up I needed!
    Xo,
    Charlotte T

    • No power for a week? That would be tough. My power went off while I was watching the election returns last night. Came back on in a few hours.
      Brenda

  23. Lovely photos, it is such a beautiful time of year.

  24. Lovely photos Brenda! That was very nice of Judy to take you to the Rose Garden. It must have been nice to get out and see something different.

I have a few roses still blooming but tonight is our first frost advisory. So I’m sure when I go out tomorrow to check on my garden it will be sad sight!

  25. BeeeeeeYOUteeeeeeFULL! Thanks for sharing! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  26. Fabulous photos! I love seeing the fall foliage of other places, since it’s nearly non-existent here! ::Jill

  30. Hi Brenda,

Lovely to see the last of the blooms in your neck of the woods!

  31. Brenda–
I know how much you appreciate getting to take beautiful photos of all God has created. You never take a beautiful artist shot for granted.
Just like I enjoy being able to take my crummy photos OFF my computer… the appreciation is the same. :)
glad you are able to get out and do this. Pat

Flowers are really amazing, just glad to see these blooming flowers, as the flowers in my garden are shaded, hope they will flourish once again.

  33. Those roses still look amazing, Brenda! I noticed on my walk the other day that the rose bushes planted in a lot of the public areas here {have no idea what kind they are} still have blooms on them, where many of the other flowers are done or were hit by freeze.

  34. the roses are so lovely! :) Everything is but how nice that the roses are still in bloom!

  35. Yes, Mother Nature is “Grand,” but your photography is “Splendid!”

  36. You take absolutely breathtaking photos Brenda! And, you have such a wonderful friend in Judy!

  37. Hi Brenda,
It’s been such a crazy busy week for me. I have been planning a baby shower with approximately 50 ladies attending. Food, invitations, my gift, party favors, baby games, decorations….Uh! I’m worn out.
Your Autumn photos are such a respite! Thank you for letting me stroll along with you.
    Blessings,
    Carolynn
