Hi Brenda, I knew even if you didn’t put up a tree this year that you would still turn the house into a magical place and you did! Oh how I wish I could come have coffee w/you and soak in all of your wonderful things!

    • I see so many pretty homes in blog land and think the same thing. If only I could be there in person and just stare at it all.

  12. Your house is turning is getting all ready for the season. Love the little houses……like the smoke coming from the chimney.

  13. The small house in the cloche takes me right back to my childhood my mom had little houses that looked like it which you put Christmas lights in it to light it up. I’ve been looking for some this year with no luck.
    Denise

  14. For not having put up a Christmas tree, you’ve created a truly lovely environment that you don’t even realize there is no tree. Your use of quilts and the little bottle brush trees is right on the mark. I adore the little glitter houses. You are a “daily visit must do.”

    • Hi Brenda,
Might your sound machines be what is troubling your sweet babies?
I had a small dog that lived 18 years and my sound machines,, usually set to “rain forest” drove her crazy!
Their hearing is sooo very sensitive.
Just a thought? Have you always used them or just since your new house?

  15. Everything looks so festive! Warm and Cozy!

  26. It all looks so pretty, Brenda, and of course as you already have so much red your Christmas decor just enhances it.

    Hugs,

  27. I love all of the bits and pieces that make fun discoveries, like the eggs, the spool of red and white thread, and the clothespins. I like that Santa, too. I have never wanted to collect Santas, preferring snowmen. But, a Santa like that one could change my mind! Thanks for sharing with us.

  28. I love your quilt hanging on the wall and the pops of red really make it festive.

  29. Brenda,

  33. Your house is looking so beautiful for Christmas!

  34. Where did you get the darling little red tree??

  35. Et belle Brenda. Festive and inviting at the same time.

Love the little bisquit (cookie) jar. I love the red/pink transfer ware. It carries me back in my life to the fifties when I went to my first Silent (Catholic) retreat at a marvelous mansion that the Sisters of the Cenacle ran. Our meals were served on red/pink transfer ware and the beginning of my love of these dishes.

Beautifully decorated. A true Brenda room.

  36. Pinned it! You mix the vintage and new with ease.
    Blessings,
    Holly

  37. Brenda,
