Judy made the jar scene and the salt shaker scene. Aren’t they cute?
Stay warm, give yourself a treat of hot chocolate, tea or coffee as an afternoon treat. And don’t do so much hustling and bustling about that you don’t enjoy the season.

Hi Brenda! I loved your cozy little pictures~Christmas is my favorite holiday because of the children and the excitement in their faces on Christmas day~and of course all the sweet yummy food that goes along with it like my Fanny Farmer Fudge and my ham roll ups and shrimp dip that are all only made at Christmas Time~but most of all all the LOVE I feel at this time of year celebrating Jesus’s birthday…and..I am drinking my hot chocolate right now!! lol…Love ya!! Carol
So, so cute. LOVE the wee salt shaker. I’m on a mission to find a tiny green tree today!!
The little snow scene in the jar is so cute and cozy. I’m loving the suitcase vignette. You have such a way with arranging little scenes. Wish you could come over here and help me out. Have a good week!
I love the little salt shaker scene. Just adorable. I love anything Christmasy and snowy in a glass jar.
Sidelined by migraines so unable to be out and about……not stressing though.
Love the jar and salt shaker ! So cute !
Very cute! I love the salt shaker. Great job, Judy
Brenda,
thats some of the cutest and most creative christmas decor I’ve seen this year..
just lettin ya know I’m swiping that lace n buttons idea:) love love love that.
Hi Brenda! Those jar scenes are adorable! I wonder if Judy sells them? I’ll have to check out her Etsy store and find out. Your home looks wonderful!
Xo,
Charlotte
OH! She does! I just snagged one!
Xo,
Charlotte
I adore the little jar snow scenes, I got 4 of them from her for gifts for my sisters and best friend! Thanks for sharing her link and her goodies. ((hugs)), Teresa
You’re blog is aptly named. It always has such cozy vignettes and decor.
I was wondering if you and your daughter have made any headway in communications? I’ve been thinking about you and hoping you have.
Hi Brenda. Sage advice! Love your photos!
xo Kris
It’s a little cloudy here today and I have candles lit and my house plugged in and I’m enjoying a day at home! Sweet hugs to you!
Judy sent me one of those sweet salt shaker snow scenes, too. I really love it. Your scenes are very cozy.
xo
Claudia
The salt shaker with the bottle brush tree is just ‘right’. Tell Judy she is totally creative.
Joy
I’ve never seen suck a skinny santa, the snow scene in the jar is cute.
merle…..
Love that tree in the salt shaker, brilliant idea.
I’m sitting down checking out my favorite blogs drinking some hot tea—I always overdo at Christmas. Thanks for the break—love the scenes in the jar and the salt shaker! Very creative! ♥
Everything looks cozy and beautiful! I love the jar and salt shaker – so cute!
So very cute!!!
The suitcase full of Christmas cheer is my favorite! What a darling display, Brenda!
Hope you’re having some hot cocoa (or whatever beverage you want!) and enjoying the season too.
Nancy
It all looks so nice, but that salt shaker is beyond adorable.
ooh, those are so creative! Love them!.. and simple enough that anyone can make them. Thanks for sharing….
Cute and cozy.
I love your cozy Christmas displays. The house in a jar is especially sweet. Now I know what to do with my collection of buttons! Merry Christmas.
The tiny scenes kind of catch you by surprise, and seeing them makes me smile. I love the tree in the salt-shaker !
Hi Brenda,
What a cozy little scene it is at your house. Your Santa with the bottle brush trees is so cheerful. Judy has such a gift of creating things that say Home Sweet Home! I can see why you are friends. You have so much in common. Her tiny vignettes situated inside each glass container are darling. I love the buttons and lace around the top.
Thanks for sharing, my friend.
Merry Christmas…(I just can’t say it too many times!)
Carolynn
Your vignette is absolutely charming, Brenda…I just love it!
everything is just so sweet!!!
I love how you decorated!
Hugs,
Very cute scenes, Brenda! Judy did a great job ~ I love the salt shaker scene! Your pretty tea cup looks wonderful with the candle, too.
Me too all the above!!! I found some of the trees at WM in several sizes and found some at Dollar Tree – Did not find them small enough for a salt shaker. I did find a package of small ones at Hobby Lobby though- now where did I put them?? Ihope to have the weekend to be at home and enjoy the decorations. We put them up and get too busy to enjoy them. I have a small vintage red suit case, make up case. I have a dog on it who sings with a santa hat and a small card basket I made out of christmas cards. I might see if I can open it too. as always great ideas. Your blog should win some sort of prize or something. Hope your furr babies are doing well.
I love your old suitcase vignette, and what a sweet friend you have in Judy.
Hugs,
Laura
Those little snow scenes are just adorable, Brenda!
Very lovely. The teacup with the candle is giving me an idea. I’ve been wondering about just the right candle holder for a shelf in my bedroom. A teacup just might be it.
Hi Brenda, It’s one of the things I love most about being retired – enjoying Christmas so much more. Your home is so sweet. I love the candle in the cup and saucer. Happy Holidays!
YOur home looks cozier than ever!

I love the house in the jar. But the best is the Christmas tree in the salt shaker.
