Poise Roll On Cooling Gel Review

400cooling gel

I will tell you right now, unless you are one of the lucky ones, menopause is not for the faint of heart.

You probably remember having a 1st talk that explained your changing bodies as you were approaching puberty. (Unfortunately I didn’t even have that.) But as women approach menopause, many are hesitant to discuss this very normal life stage, leaving them feeling unprepared and anxious.

That’s why Poise started The 2nd Talk–to help make this life stage better for all women by giving them the confidence to talk about menopause in a whole new way and to better prepare them for this time in their lives (FYI – cannot talk about products as providing solutions for symptoms.).

I chose the Poise hot flash comfort roll on cooling gel. Just slip it in your purse, and when the hot raging beast hits you, take it out and cool yourself off. It provides an instant cooling sensation. Keep one in your car for when it hits you in traffic. It will cut down on road rage!

I am so glad that woman of our age are being addressed and marketed to. What took them so long to realize we needed help too?

Millions of women already rely on Poise for discreet protection from light bladder leakage (LBL).  Poise now offers a unique line of daily products for life’s little changes.  (or “unique line of daily products specifically designed for you”):

§  Roll-On Cooling Gel helps you feel comfortable and refreshed.  Squeeze the tube and gently roll the cooling gel on wrists, chest or neck for a cooling sensation that lasts up to 10 minutes.

§  Body Cooling Towelettes offer instant cooling and refreshment.  Gently wipe the towelette on wrists, chest or neck to feel cool and comfortable. Featuring a portable, re-sealable package, these towelettes are easy to use anywhere you go. (FYI: it is OK to say “Hot Flash Comfort”, but not anything that says or implies use “during hot flash.”)
- Personal Lubricant designed to enhance your intimate experience. This lubricant features an easy to use bottle and is made without Fragrance, Glycerin or Parabens. (FYI – “made without glycerin” is technically different from “glycerin free”)
- Panty Fresheners have a fresh and clean scent that lasts up to four hours. These discreet,  hypoallergenic fresheners stick to the outside of your undergarments so you can confidently go about your day.
- Feminine Wash provides daily freshness with a unique formulation that is pH balanced for your intimate area. Glycerin and paraben free, this gentle wash will help you feel clean and confident. (FYI – ok to say “glycerin free for this product.” Poise doesn’t have substantiation yet for “a non-irritating formula.”)

  1. Nice article and high five for menopause!

  2. Thanks, I will have to try some of these products. I was suddenly in menopause last spring, after having a total hysterectomy for endometrial cancer. Fingers crossed! Cancer-free!

  3. I went thru menopause a short time ago, I didn’t enjoy it much. However, eating whole, organic foods helped in most aspects. Such as weight gain, moods… No processed foods, absolutely no sugar, no artificial sugar try it! Once you start feeling better it becomes easier to stick to. The products mentioned how wonderful as the hot flashed didn’t seem to be effected by the healthy diet.

  4. For everyone out there suffering from hot flashes try taking bee pollen. 1 up to 3 times a day will prevent the symptoms. It works for myself and all the friends who tried it.

  5. Hi Brenda…Thanks so much for sharing all these products with us..I was 48 when I had to have a complete hystorectomy..I had 2 football sized tumors in my uterus and was cut from my breast all the way down to get them out..I wanted to die I was so miserable and the healing was long and I was very weak…immediately in the hospital I had terrible hot flashes and they continued for years and I still get littler ones today and I am now 61…seriously if I had to have it ever done again I would say just shoot me!!!it was an awful time for me and I would of given anything to know about these products then…Love Ya!Carol

  6. Toni Anne says:

I was knocked into menopause at 40 because of chemo for breast cancer. It comes and goes, I’m hot, I’m cold. It could be worse, I’m happy I’m alive, 7 yrs and counting. YAY me!!!

  7. So much was going on in my life at that time I didn’t notice anything different! Glad it is all behind me. Sounds like great products.

  8. Tracy Robertson says:

I am trying to approach that time confidently through my exercise routine and taking comfort in the fact that there are good products to help us through that time. Still, it’s scary though…I think that nurses should offer a one day class that we could take before that time to know exactly what to expect.

  10. Hi Brenda
I am 53 years old and in menopause… Hot flashes are the worst, I’m glad Poise has created some solutions and I’m going to try them!
    Thanks!
    Susan

  11. At 20 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and at 32 faced another scare when they found a tumor on my other ovary. It was rare for people to believe me that I was in menopause due to my age….unless I wanted to go into my history. Needless to say, it was difficult. I still have hot flashes and certainly have to focus more on pesky lbs. and mood swings than any of my friends. (Their time will come…. :) I am excited to learn about Poise….very nice review.

  12. I’ve been taking more vitamins and herbal supplements.

My biggest life change right now is having my first child (so no menopause just yet!)! I’m finding confidence in preparing for that by taking time to research it and work through my feelings/fears beforehand, so that when the time comes, I’ll (hopefully) be more ready for it!

  19. atlantagalknows says:
  20. I’m just taking it one day at a time – and hoping that my symptoms aren’t as bad as my moms were!

  21. I have not had an easy time of it. I am still going through it. I have contacted my doctor regarding different issues and each time she says that what I am experiencing seems to be a symptom of perimenopause with menopause coming on. Some days are good and others really not so good. I just have to take it as it comes. I am not taking medication due to a health issue (unrelated) so I have to do things naturally. I am taking it as it comes.

  22. Nice! The Roll On Cooling Gel sounds as cool as this giveaway. Can’t wait to try it.

I am approaching life’s changes confidently by thinking positively. It might be easier said than done. But I’m trying my best.

I am 40 and pregnant and I NEED that cooling gel! I am approaching life’s changes by trying to have a good attitude about it and joke about it along the way. I am glad to see there are products out there to help us get through it!

  25. Haven ‘t gotten to menopause yet – will take it one day at a time. Thanks for all the info
