First of all, I love my mini Keurig. I like it better than the big Keurig I started out with. I’m not sure why. Of course this one is red, so that might have a bit to do with it!
Morning coffee, I think for most folks, is more than just a cup of java. It is a pleasant ritual to look forward to. Oh, that first delightful sip!
I don’t drink mine black. That would be your hard core coffee drinkers with a stomach less delicate than mine. There has to be a sweetener, a dollop of half-and-half, and a bit of Coffee Mate French vanilla added.
Judy gave me some of her red and white ribbon she found thrifting, so I went to town at the coffee bar, as you can see. Because I want a cheerful and appealing coffee bar that greets me each morning after I’ve eaten my cereal and fruit.
The other day I took the lid from the glass container I put my K-cups in outside and painted it with red spray paint. Red, as you know, makes me smile.

I like to have a lamp on my coffee bar. I’m not an overhead light type of person. I like a more diffused “ambiance.”
Oh, and I see I need to put a pretty dish towel on that bar. How on earth did I miss that? Probably because I needed a cup of coffee.
If you’d like to have a coffee bar or station, you can probably look around the garage or in the attic or basement, and find some cast-off that would work for the task at hand. Dress it up a bit. And you’ve got yourself a cute coffee bar.
