There are few places in Blog Land that evokes more elegance and romance than does Aiken House & Gardens.
Carolyn lives in a beautiful home on Prince Edward Island in Canada. She is married to her high school sweetheart. They have seven children, and nine grandchildren.
Carolyn can style a space so enchanting you can’t stop going from post to post, seeking more.
Her gardens are legendary. Some of the most gorgeous I’ve ever had occasion to glimpse on a blog.
You can see for yourself where some of her pretty dishes are stored.
She often has a feast of goodies to display. A feast for the eyes as well.
I can only imagine what it would be like to stroll through her gardens, the scent of all these flowers drifting through the air.
I’d ask if I could pick a bouquet to take with me.
Or perhaps sit here with her and have a cup of tea.
I hope you enjoyed touring Carolyn’s home at Aiken House & Gardens. I doubt you’d ever find one more beautiful or charming.

I just realized her blog was one of the ones that disappeared from my list when my blog went down. Off to rejoin. She has a marvelous blog full of “pretty”. xo Diana
I’m not familiar with this blog; I’ll have to go take a look. Just from the pictures that you posted, it looks like her house and gardens should be featured in Romantic Homes!

Greetings Brenda,
I have been to Carolyn’s glorious gardens to see for myself and have had the joyful experience of sharing tea with her at her kitchen table. It is something I will always remember fondly. Indeed, she has been featured in Romantic Home and countless publications. Although I am relatively new to blogging, I have done an entire series of posts on the amazing world she has created for herself and her family. She is a beautiful talent and even more beautiful person. Thank you for bringing her to your readers. Wonderful job! I’m glad to have found your blog.
Hugs,
Linda at Beautiful Ideas

When I hear Prince Edward Island now I think of one fictional character, Anne of Greene Gables, and then the very real Carolyn whose is as sweet as her home is beautiful.

Oh Brenda,
I SO agree with you- Carolyn has one of the best blogs ever – every single thing she posts is a new favorite, I would LOVE to go to her house – you know the last 3 years we’ve gone to PEI and couldn’t make it to a tour of her world. It’s so far away, I could just kick myself every time I think of missing it!
