As long as I’ve been blogging or reading blogs, there has been a Back Porch Musings.
This blog’s writer, Pat, is a master at photography. So feast your eyes on these photos. They are the real deal.
I once posted an interview I did with her about her photography skills. She is beyond good with a camera.
Her style borders on traditional with a good dollop of sophistication mixed in.
Though life gets in the way, and we have not communicated much of late, I will always consider Pat one of my first blogging friends. And mentors.
She has a certain style that is refined and recognizable.
She can set a table like nobody’s business. And it always looks so cozy you just want to sit down and chat.
I have learned a lot over the years from watching and reading Back Porch Musings. I could always count on the fact that if Pat did or said something, then it was tasteful and beyond reproach.
I’ve missed you, my blogging friend. We need to catch up. Your photos, somehow, get better and better. Just when I think you’ve reached the pinnacle of perfection, you surprise me.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tour of Back Porch Musings. Pat is the epitome of graciousness and would, I’m sure, have cooked up one of her down home delicious dishes, and sat us down for a meal you wouldn’t soon forget.

Brenda- I love visiting Pat, too. She does such an admirable job all the way around. I just wanted to tell you that I had a really hard time finding the “key” to leaving you a comment today. I had to look 3 or 4 times before I discovered it was at the end of your “filed under” lst. Maybe it’s just me and I am getting old….lol…Anyway- Have a great St. Paddy’s Day- xo Diana
She does have a wonderful blog…I haven’t been over there for awhile…going now!
Happy St. Pats, Brenda!
Her photos are filled with a beautiful light…clean, crisp, and so nice to look at.
I’ve not seen her blog before, thanks for letting us know about her.
Hope you are well.
Jen
Just admiring all your beautiful pictures..going to check out her blog now! Thanks Brenda!:-)
It is a pleasure to visit Pat’s blog to see the beautiful photos of her tablescapes and her lovely home. I love her unstuffy traditional style. How generous of you to praise Pat’s photography considering how good yours is. Both of you are very talented in your own way. Shannon
What a lovely, lovely post. And I’m very excited to have a new beautiful blogger to follow. I love photography and I’m loving what i’m seeing in just a quick gander. It’s a rainy day here in Virginia and I have some time to look around this beautiful blogger’s works! Thanks for sharing….you are both blessed to have found one another in the world of blog. Hugs, Annette

Pat is a lovely Lady, capital L, with style, class, finesse, I could go on but I’ll cool it. She makes it look effortless, and we all know that it takes a lot! xo
Hi Brenda! Oh, I agree – Pat is amazing. Her blog was one of the first I saw too and I was captured way back by her snaps. Her home is gorgeous isn’t it? I’ve always loved seeing your snaps as well. You two ladies are my snap heros. Well, I guess it’s snap heroines.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia
