August Book Club Read: The Comfort Of Lies

The August book for the Cozy Little House Book Club is "The Comfort Of Lies" by Randy Susan Meyers. I read her first book and loved it.

I didn't get to be as hands on during our first month as I wanted to be. I was distracted by blog problems. But now, however, having started over after losing my blog of four and a half years, I am ready to be more involved.

I truly enjoyed our first book club pick, "The Light Between Oceans." And apparently many members did also, following the discussion about it on our Good Reads page

I have been reading "The Comfort Of Lies," and I have to say I love this book. It is packed full of plots and characters.

So get over to Good Reads and join the conversation there. There's been a lively discussion going on there of members introducing themselves and giving their thoughts on the book.

And now we need to choose books for September/October. I will get going and choose three. And we will do as before: have a poll and let everyone vote. Number one will be September and number two will be October. This seems simpler to me than voting on a book every month.

I have gone over to Randy Susan Meyers website,, and from there found her blog, I'm going to go back over and read some more. You might want to head over and check her out.

Happy reading!

I always enjoy reading your comments and having you join the conversation here at Cozy Little House. It is like having a gathering of friends sitting in my cozy apartment. Enjoying coffee and dessert, chatting and having a good time.

Please be kind with your comments. We all need kindness in this world. That's not to say you can't state your opinion! Everyone should be able to state their own opinion in a kind and thoughtful manner.

I appreciate each and every one of you!
