Creative Posts From Blog Land This Week

This morning I decided to show you what some of my pals in Blog Land have been up to this week. My word, what a talented bunch!

What you see above is Manuela's no sew pillow at A Cultivated Nest. She makes the cutest and most colorful things. I can pretty much tell something she's made before I even see her name on it.

How Dawn from Creative Cain Cabin finds time to bake I just don't know. She's got so much going it makes my head spin.

Did you know she's started her own blog graphics business? She's designing blogs and making social media graphics and doing all kinds of things. She designed her own Wordpress blog, which is no easy feat.

So if you need something done, she's the girl to holler for. I can't tell you how many times I've called her with my water just about to boil, and she's managed to both calm me down and fix whatever blog problem I'm having.

Kathy at Kate's Place can put a vignette together that rivals anyone I've ever seen. She is a master at finding goodies at garage and estate sales, and then repurposing them in her beautiful home.

Just look how Andrea's farmhouse at Keeping It Cozy is coming along. I just love her place. And that man Justus can build most anything. I wish I had someone that smart around to build things for me.

Her two little girls are just sweet as can be. She's such a good mama and those children are blessed.

Deborah at Common Ground put together a three step wreath that is just gorgeous for fall. Now I look at this beauty and I ask myself: How do you put together all that prettiness in three steps? But Deborah is one smart cookie.

I'm just wondering if this will find its way to her front door or end up on that sun porch I so covet?

Pam from House Of Hawthornes is still prettifying her outdoor spaces. And she must be watering up a storm because her plants still look good. Just feast your eyes on that sweet little truck.

Look what Susan over at Homeroad has been up to. Now isn't that little step ladder with license plates just cute as a bug's ear?

This was photographed by Jen of Muddy Boot Dreams. She's one of the most talented photographers I know. And the only one whose work I have hung in my house. The dining room, to be exact.

I don't know who'd have thought of this clever idea that Bliss Ranch created but her. She took a bunch of what I like to call "antique mall relatives" and used them for a valance. Now isn't that imaginative?

And last, but most certainly not least, is this work of art by Betsy over at My Salvaged Treasures. I would never have thought to turn the front of this altered book into a chalkboard.

She embellishes like nobody's business. I just never know what this girl will come up with next. But I'll be watching to see!

I feel humble when I traipse across Blog Land and see what everyone is up to. The sheer amount of creativity is absolutely astonishing.

    1. I grew up hearing that phrase. I don't think anyone could actually see a bug's ear. So let's just assume it's cute!

  5. LOL! Is that because most things are yellow and/or red?

Thank you so much for spotlighting my little pillow. I'm thinking that the glue gun is my new best friend (next to spray paint) since I'm not fond of sewing.

    1. Well, I use to love hand sewing. But surgeries and subsequent arthritis kind of nixed that. That pillow is so cute. I like the glue gun as long as it doesn't decide to bite/burn me.
