  1. Thanks for the recipe. I fixed this a few days ago with some leftover chili, and we really enjoyed it.

  3. Picture perfect creation! (All my dishes turn out looking so unappealing and taste even worse.)

  4. I like the quick and easy route, too, when it comes to cooking. This looks yummy, Mexican is one of my favorites. I would also use the mild sauce.

  5. Well you are like me..I need to use the MILD sauce in recipes like this! 🙂 I cannot handle the hotter stuff / this looks wonderful! 🙂

I remember dating my first husband ( in my late teens ) down in Mon Valley ( where Joe Montana, football star, came from…two years ahead of me in school ) Anyway…over the river and bridge was a place that served ribs.

This was like a trailer or something…just standing up at a counter. But it was THE PLACE to be! 🙂

I could ONLY handle the "Mild Child" and still had tears streaming from my eyes and needed to blow my nose. Too much Fair Skinned Nordic in my Background, I guess….the Italians etc could handle the harder stuff.

White Wonder Bread and Red Cherokee pop were the sides. For some reason YOUR wonderful post brought back THIS wonderful memory! 🙂

  6. Yum! This would make a good company dish too, if you needed to feed a crowd. It'd be easy to double the recipe.

  7. Oh Brenda this looks really good! You have many good recipes! Wish I have the ingrediants and I would fix this tomorrow. Doesnt look like I will be getting out any way soon but when I do, this is on my list! Stay warm!

  8. Now that is what I call a yummy recipe. it made my mouth water just reading the ingredients. Must try it soon because my kids just love spicy food. Thanks for sharing.

My family hates casseroles and even more, they hate anything I make. Fortunately, Steve loves to cook. Now that our daughter lives near, she is coming over and cooking wonderful meals too.

  10. So glad to see you cooked something for yourself!! The addition I would add would be some guacamole.
Can't have tex mex without it!!

  11. I think my family would love this dish.. It will be the next meal I fix after we finish the spaghetti. It really sounds and looks good.. Thank you for the recipe..
