Elaine's Chicken Kitchen

I just love Elaine's kitchen. She's a California girl and she's real down to earth. Thus her blog name fits her well: Sunny Simple Life.

Elaine likes chickens in her kitchen, and chickens in her yard. She just flat likes chickens.

She's got a husband and four girls. So she spends a great deal of time in her kitchen.

When she got these red, white and blue canisters, I was so jealous I probably turned green. Aren't they the cutest?

Nothing fancy. Just a cute little kitchen. And I adore it.

Naturally she's got a chicken calendar to go in her chicken kitchen.

I love the old-fashioned banquette look here too. Great for a family of six.

To me, this is the essence of a cozy country kitchen that gets used a lot. A mother of four girls, cooking and teaching them how to do things, and making sure everyone is fed.

And you just gotta love a blond-haired California girl who keeps Little Debbie snacks for her family in a cute jar with (of course) a red lid.

  6. First off how did I miss this blog?? When did it start? I have seen it pinned on pinterest though. And second thanks so much I am honored. I will add to my sidebar too. Love the color. I think the all white thing is fading. Color will never fade in decor. It may change but never fade.
