Cooking Up A Pretty Stove

I found these kitchens over at HouseToHome.co.uk, and immediately fell in love with this blue stove.

And look at this navy one. Blue is in, I'm telling ya. Always was with me.

And red. Oh, my beloved red.

What this one lacks in color it makes up for in sturdy looks.

Take a gander at this pink one. Oh my.

And of course this has nothing to do with stoves. But isn't it unique!

This isn't a stove either, but I thought of you clock collectors and just had to show it.

Which color stove would you choose?

  1. I love those English kitchens with the Aga. I really like aqua. They must make that color! :)

  2. It's almost impossible for me to pick a favorite stove! But I guess the red one would work best in my kitchen. Also, there's something to love about each of the kitchens.

  3. Well, if I could fit one in my small kitchen it would be the cream and black model. Although the cobalt blue stove is stunning!

  9. I worked all day and read your comment late in the day and had to race over here to see the pink stove! Yes, I'd love a pink stove. I went to Culinary Kitchens a couple of weeks ago. It's a fancy kitchen store full of kitchen suff...pots and pans and table linens and fancy stoves! They had a Big Chill stove in Red. You can order it in pink. They also had french stoves in several colors. My dream stove is a 1950's Wedgewood stove but that's not very practical. But if I ever find one for a song...I'll move it into my kitchen without thought. But...if not that one day I'll put in a vintage looking one. I'll probably go with white believe it or not. But if I happened upon a pink one...I'd change my whole kitchen to accommodate it.

  12. The red stove would go with my red Kitchen Aid stand mixer, my red Keurig and my red Kitchen Aid toaster.
My kitchen is the brightest, most colorful spot in my home.
    Have a happy day.

  14. That's a tough one! Since these are super expensive, I think I'd go for the cream. I wouldn't want to spend thousands on something that might not go with other things if/when my tastes change. That's me...Ms. Practicality.

  15. Amazing, all. But what really amazes me is the lack of range hoods. They mostly have a small pipe leading outside. Wonder why we must have such huge range hoods? Vicki in Louisville KY

  16. Aga! They bring a tear to my eye. I'd even trade hubby for one. ;) They really are beautiful works of art.
Home Depot Expo *now closed* had one in their showroom. Every time we visited my son I'd go over and spend time with that beautiful Aga. I always wondered when they closed shop where that lovely thing went.
Hope someone got a great bargain on her.

  18. I would love to have an English Aga and have admired them for years. Love the blue ones. They are very power consumptive, though.

  22. Great inspiration, Brenda. Wish I could revamp my kitchen but I'm afraid it would take a whole different house to make that happen.

  24. I love the red one! But aside from that, I keep looking at that photo of all the beautiful clocks on the wall, and I wonder if they all work. Probably not, but Im imagining ALL of them ticking at the same time. :) Oh my! ha!
