Different Versions Of Coffee Bars

You all know how fond I am of coffee. In fact I have two coffee stations. The bottom one is my old potting bench I painted white last fall.

I've had some version of a coffee station for years. I just love the fact that everything you need is in one convenient spot.

Let's look at some others I googled and found.

People are SO creative. Look what Chipping With Charm did, above. How clever.

I love this colorful one by Inspired By Charm.

This one's from Apartment Therapy.

By Natalie Creates. I love her little shelf above.

This one is by Tell It To Your Neighbor. And it's on wheels. Good idea.

Natasha In Oz created this one.

I really like the rustic shelf from Southern Living.

This one is fantastic from An Inviting Home.

This snazzy built-in is by The Kitchn.com.

Do you have a coffee station? If you don't, would you like to create one? If you've been wanting one, I hope this post has given you some inspiration to get started.

  4. I love yours, Brenda. Both of them!!! I do have a coffee bar area set up. It was one of the things I did when we rehabbed this house. Thanks for all the fun and inspiration I always find here- xo Diana

  5. I have one on a buffet that was my Grandmother's. When I got my Keurig about 9 years ago, I decided to paint the buffet and make the coffee bar there.

  7. I love the idea of a coffee station. I have a coffee pot on my counter top with cups in the cabinet above, spoons in the drawer below and sugar in a canister beside it. Does that count? LOL! I loved the one that you showed on wheels. Thanks for the inspiration pics.

  8. They are all nice, but I love yours! I have one on my porch by the laundry. Because the kitchen is small, we didn't want to take use valuable counter space. My spouse works from home, when he is not traveling, so the arrangement works well.

  10. My husband would probably like a coffee bar, but he only wants coffee on the weekends preferring to buy his at the local convenience shop during the work week where he can also hang out with the other men and gossip. (And they call women gossips. Ha!) I could go for a cola bar, like Judy, but mine would be Pepsi. I love the looks of your coffee bar, but I'd choose the built-in because I must have more dust in my house than the rest of you all. :)

  11. I love coffee bars! I really like both of yours. We finally broke down and purchased a Keurig Platinum K75. Got a rebate, plus it was on sale and then we got an extra 30% off. I love that you can make your own coffee or tea (with a separate filter) and all the flavors you can buy make it a special treat. Don't have a coffee bar but do have a tray on my counter with all the fixings for hot beverages.

  12. I am not a coffee drinker, but your coffee bars are so cute, I would probably consider learning to drink coffee just to have one! Plus I love the way it smells!

I like the cute apron you put on your potting bench. She serves coffee in style!

  13. There are all lovely! I can’t decide what I wanted to my new cabin. I’m not also a coffee drinker, but it’s all good to look at. I like that chalk board!

  14. Right now I have the closest thing to a coffee bar that I've ever had -- coffee maker on counter next to the sink, coffee and other supplies in cabinet right overhead, and cups hanging on cup hooks on the underside of the cabinet. In other kitchens, various parts of the coffee puzzle were stored all over the kitchen, but this kitchen is so small that it forced me to be a better organizer. The cup hooks have been the best part, because they help free up cabinet space. These photos are an inspiration for me to do something to make my coffee area look more attractive. Maybe a piece of art or a tray...

  15. I have one. The location is great for making the coffee - terrible for aesthetics. It's not much to look at but the whole family enjoys everything in one place. I think it encourages them to make a cup of something and sit and visit, and I particularly like that my older kids and other guests can help themselves, they know it's there for them to use.

I have a tea area, but nothing so cute and creative as yours and our fellow bloggers!
I need to get with the program and add a little more love to mine.

  17. I'm one of those people that likes as many things out of sight as possible. I don't even like having the coffee maker out (but it is). I will say that these are very cute ideas...for someone else's house ;).

  18. These coffee stations do look lovely, maybe I should get my things out of the cupboards!! I do have a white cow creamer like the one in the pictures, which is out on display!

  21. Hey Brenda, et al....how about a survey to find out which brews are the most popular/the most recommended. I drink Folger's at home, however, I only like Dark or Robust. I also like Chockful of Nuts (spelling?) Original Blend - again Dark. Would love to sample others recommended by your blog fans. Thanks.

  23. You know it's funny, but until I started reading your blog, I had no idea what a coffee station was. And then I realized that we didn't have enough space in our teeny tiny condo..so I had to wait until here. Now I too, have a coffee station. Thanks for the inspiration.

  24. I really like all of these, Brenda. The one by Southern Living is my favorite, the rustic shelf and the simplicity of it, not as crowded as the others. I think I'm going to do a little tweaking tomorrow!

  26. I am not a coffee drinker; but love tea. But I am not really schooled in the etiquette of tea or brewing leaf teas...I do enjoy a good cup from a tea bag. I suppose a little tea set up would be very nice. I do like the idea from Chipping With Charm.
