Down To Earth Style

Above is a living space. Here is another angle.

This is Holly, author of the blog.

She is not afraid of power tools. Not in the least.

Like me, like millions of other people, Holly and her family rent their home. But I can assure you she has brought her personality in and made it uniquely hers.

Every photo I'm showing you is something Holly just came up with.

Not only did she build this kitchen island, but that is a shower caddy holding the salt and pepper shakers! Yeah, she's good. Really good!

She took down cabinets and created open shelving. And it looks fantastic.

She took a wine bottle and put her dish soap in it.

She surrounded the sides of her refrigerator with wood, and gave it a built-in look.

And that was just her kitchen!

She took what you see above.

And turned it into this. Can you believe this girl?

This is her "industrial" style bedroom. I love the tree branch!

Recently she decided to paint a black accent wall. Do you think that her husband wonders what new decorative detail he's going to come home to next?

I certainly wonder what she's going to come up with next. Because she is one spirited, industrious, and talented lady. I think she needs to teach classes.
