My Country Woman Feature Is Now Online

Here is the kitchen in the beginning. Before I moved in two years ago.

Today I got my hard copy of the feature on my kitchen in Country Woman in the mail. It has even more photos of the kitchen on their website.

Since the magazine is not on the stands yet, you can find the feature, in its entirety, here...

  30. Congratulations on the feature. The photographs are delightful and your article is very engaging. I'm so glad you got to include a link to your blog, so that more people will be visiting. It's great that the photographs feature some of the really creative ideas you've come up with such as the pot lid towel holder. That one is going to be showing up in a lot of kitchens now because it's so clever.

  32. What a transformation, Brenda! I love what you've done to your kitchen - but especially so when I see the before pic. Well done! My galley kitchen is even smaller than yours , incredibly narrow, and I use Billy bookcases from IKEA as cabinets. Unfortunately, I am not neat and tidy like you!!

  53. Congrats Brenda on the article finally getting to the magazine! The photographer did a great job and now we get to see ALL of your kitchen areas all put together in one place! I thoroughly enjoyed finally seeing a picture of YOU! I've been following your blog for over a year now and never did see a photo of you, except behind the camera. This would be an awesome photo to use on your blog.... as you said in one of your blog tips, BE SURE to always have a good photo of YOU on your blog! Your written article was so good...it's all YOU and glad the magazine let you write it your way. I love your decoupaged cabinets. I would love to do that but living in a rental, don't think the landlords would take to it very well. You are lucky your "landlord" said OK, go ahead! And I've used a bookshelf/cabinet for my kitchen for many years. It's a little narrow one that stands out from the wall only 9 inches, so works perfectly in little nooks and crannies. Love your black one! Marilyn
