The 534 Square Foot House

This is the 534 square foot house over at Better Homes & Gardens. Looks bigger than that to me from the outside. But looks can be deceiving.

Love where they put the TV. It's presence is really subtle. And the piece of furniture underneath is a good choice as well.

Because they took the two bottom drawers out, it opened up the look of it. Just like taking off kitchen cabinet doors does.

They chose to have cabinet doors, but you can see inside. The dishwasher looks like a smaller version instead of the regular size.

The whites of the cabinets and the light back splash work well together, as it has unified the space.

  1. Great house! I really like all these photos.

  2. so adorable and looks like it functions well too....

  3. Nice! I wish they had shown how it flowed, but I like what I saw. Love the decorating, too!

  4. This is adorable! It does look bigger on that 534 sq ft. It seem to have a nice, open flow to it. I wonder what it would cost? Have you heard anything from Judy?

  5. I love that cute little house! It's full of style and actually looks comfortable to me. I watched GMA this morning and they featured little bitty houses. They were so cute. Although, I think they were best for just one person to live in.

  6. Wow, so much style in such a little space, love it.

  7. It looks very nice for being so small Brenda..I wish they would have shown more..

  8. Brilliant uses of space.

I like that chicken wire super airy little table too - doesn't "weigh down" the room. Nice find, Brenda. Thanks for sharing.

  9. And I thought my house was small.

They made a lot of good choices for small living.

  10. I love this home! I could see myself living there very comfortably. Always enjoy seeing your remarkable finds!

  11. This little house is filled with charm. I think you can do a lot of living in a small space that is planned out well!

  12. What a charming place. But, since you can't see the front door, I would put something colorful on the wall where the silver mailbox is to draw the eye, and hint at the pleasant interior -- maybe a red or green mailbox, or a wreath or some other decoration above the mailbox.

  13. My house is as small as I want it to be. It is less than 750 sq. ft.

  14. When I buy my next house it is going to be tiny. Less to clean, heat and cool. I love flower gardens but have no more desire to cut grass! Love what they did to these rooms.

  15. I could live in this right would SIMPLIFY my life.

  16. I so love what clean, neat lines ...such a calming place.

  17. This is HUGE compared to my 8' x 18' tiny home. Nice home/perfect size
