Tweak It Tuesday #108

Last week on Tweak It Tuesday, Rose Vignettes showed off a  shower in which everyone took a pretty apron home. Love this!

The Charm Of Home has a knack for making her food look so delightfully beautiful.

Confessions Of A Serial DIYER created a fall vignette inspired by nature's colors.

A Joyful Cottage baked this pie.

The Heathered Nest found a lonesome treasure and turned it into a princess of a find.

Sweet Nothings, probably the best cook in West Texas, shows a little of her kitchen.

New pet photo from Nicer Than New. Meet Chester.

Meatloaf And Melodrama painted some jars to celebrate Halloween.

Just Jan showed us her romantic and gorgeous bedroom.

Sunny Simple Life cooked some cheesy summer squash.

My Thrift Store Addiction brought the industrial look to the celebration of Halloween and fall.

Mila's Little Things came up with a seasonal bucket list.

Ms Toody Goo Shoes whipped up some basil mayonnaise.

Nancy's Daily Dish, the queen of transfer ware far and wide, showed off a lovely vignette using her wares.

Karen's Up On The Hill has all the makings for a delectable fall dessert.

Revived By Delia painted a piece of furniture that looks to me like the Pacific Ocean. Lovely, isn't it?

J. Biggs Little Pieces showed a fall tablescape.

Rosemary & Thyme puts together such beauty that it could all be pages of a magazine. I would not know the difference!

We have another enchilada recipe this week from Simply Design Life.

I guess you guys have noticed that there is no rhyme or reason to how many blog features I showcase. I know it is customary to select a certain number, but I don't usually do what's customary. So if you think I feature too many, please leave your remarks in the comments.

I also don't ask that you follow me here and follow me there and, and as you've noticed, I'm not too picky. Having a link back to my blog would be nice though.

And another thing you've likely noticed is that I crop and resize your photos. I'm not crazy about watermarks, because I personally think they detract from the photo if they're very big, so sometimes I will cut that off.

My goal is not to change your photo, but to bring out the best in each one. I don't always show the photo you send over either. I go through each blog post and find the photo that I think best represents the others that week. I know instantly when I see "the right one."

I spend hours "tweaking" the photos to make sure they are shown in their best light. I hope you don't mind my taking this liberty.

Having said all that, now let's see what you've been tweaking this week!

  14. OMG! I want Chester!! So adorable!

Do whatever you want Brenda. I personally don't think there are too many features, but it doesn't matter what I think anyway. It's your blog.

One thing I would LOVE to know is how you get the pictures to be so big and so clear? I also like the square shape. What are the pixels you're adjusting to? TIA!!

  15. OK, I looked again and I see they're not really square, but more rectangular. I think I have noticed though that some of your personal pics are squarish, right?

  16. I want to be invited to a shower where I take home a cute apron! The more features the better, because with my slow computer I don't visit as many links as I'd like to and this way I see some great features that I otherwise wouldn't have. Thanks for hosting again this week, Brenda!

It is always a thrill to see something featured that you've worked hard on, so I, for one think it is wonderful that you showcase as many as you do. And I have no problem if you tweak the pics, either. I think it is an exceptional group of features, this week! I've got a lot to check out!

  37. The features this week are the most awesome I've ever seen, starting with the incredible apron picture which I've pinned. In fact I pinned every apron picture on her blog post - so many beautiful ideas for gifts. Each one of the pictures you highlighted are, as you said, magazine worthy, and certainly make a girl rush to the blog to read the post and enjoy all the pictures (and again, pin away). Thanks for all the work you do to make Tweak It Tuesday's features the best around.
