Ten Christmas Crafts

It takes a village. A Christmas village, that is. Wrap up boxes and decorate little houses. Cover trees in paper. And you have a sweet tabletop vignette.

I wonder if these letters came from a vintage tea towel? They sure look cute here made into a Christmas banner.

Red and white just says Christmas to me. These pillows would look lovely gracing your couch or favorite chair.

Plaid is in. Tuck little houses and greenery in and you have a gorgeous look for your mantel.

Candy in the appropriate colors can be displayed as Christmas decor when placed in clear glass.

I don't know how I'd stay out of all this red candy! What a charming little display for a small space.

Have a screened door in the attic or garage. You might want to hang it on a wall near the stairway to use as a backdrop for Christmas crafts and decor.

There's nothing more simple than putting vintage ornaments in a pretty bowl. It speaks for itself.

Cover letters in scrapbook paper. Makes a great display for a windowsill.

This little tree wouldn't be all that special alone. But take four vintage bingo cards and tie a bow around it and it is adorable.

  1. Oh, those pillows and that banner are calling my name! If I start right now, maybe I can whip something similar up...for NEXT Christmas. Maybe. I'm not known for the speediness of my crafting. Ha! Thanks for all the wonderful eye candy!

  11. These are some frugal ideas, since they can be done with materials on hand. OK, so a trip to the candy store is required! But you've got to have some pretty candy for Christmas. My dad loved to get -- and eat -- hard candies in pretty colors, like multi-colored ribbon candy, at Christmastime. So we always get the same candy each year, and put it in pretty glass bowls like shown here.
