Pieces Of Every Day Life

I love springtime. I love to take photos. And I most certainly love to take photos in springtime.

And sometimes I just like to show little slices of my life, in the way of books or old vintage scales, that I look at every day.

An important spot in my home. The coffee bar. As soon as my cereal bowl is empty and in the sink, I'm ready for my one cup of coffee.

My plants look somewhat like a jungle. I like the sight of them all grouped together, like an indoor garden.

Books play such a big part in my life. There is always a read in progress next to my bed. I like to read before sleep.

Little slices of my life. Like an orange divided into segments and arranged on a plate. Photos of my every day life.

  1. I loved viewing the sweet slices of your life! I love the way your scale looks nestled with books--reminded me I have an old scale of my own in the basement. It just needs to be brought up and dusted off. I will be doing just that in a moment! Thanks!

  11. I always notice books on blogs. I'd like to comment on "Mr. Owita's Guide to Gardening" by Carol Wall. This all takes place in my home town of Roanoke, Virginia--actually in the neighborhood I grew up in. I also see several Joyce Carol Oates on your shelf. I was at a writing workshop at Ball State University a few year's ago where she was the keynote speaker. Early the second morning, I went down for coffee and was the first one there. The second to arrive was Joyce and she asked if she could join me. YES! We had a nice chat over a few cups of coffee before others started arriving. I have to admit that I've loved a number of her books but not all.

    Best,
    Bonnie

  12. Everything is looking so bright and fresh and lovely, as I'm sitting here on a blah day with dusty skies and everything in sight covered in dust. Ugh! Have a wonderful day. Tammy

  14. I am having a terrible time finding plants that will survive a 4 season sunroom with South exposure. Do you have any suggestions? The only thing that has survived so far is my Christmas Cactus!
Your plants look so lust and healthy...I'm envious.
