Dressed Up Fall Candles

I decided to decorate some of my candles for fall. So I got out a bunch of items, sat down at the kitchen table, and went to town.

I took some fake leaves, burlap, a doily and various pins and embellishments and this is what I came up with.

I didn't use glue. Instead I used straight pens from my sewing box to adhere everything to the candles.

After fall is over, I'll just take off their "fall clothes" and maybe I'll make them some Christmas finery!

Easy little craft project, and I didn't buy a thing. Just took bits and pieces of stuff and put it together.

  21. Your candles are wonderful, Brenda. My favorite, though, is the one on the left, done in burlap with the gold/yellow leaves.
I have done that kind of decorating on one of my flameless/battery candles. Can't have real candles........don't want kitty noses to be burned.

  23. They are adorable!!! You could definitely make some "Christmas" clothes for them.
