10 Bloggers' Home Offices

I've been working on moving my home office to my dining space. It was in just a small area in my bedroom. I wanted it more defined. And in a place where I could look outside and see the patio.

So I looked up home offices of other bloggers, to get inspiration.

  1. These are some fabulous offices. Mine is in the breakfast area and I use the buffet as my desk. Drawers and some storage below make it perfect, plus I am in the middle of everything. I am part of the kitchen and family room also, so perfect., plus I get to look out a window too.

    1. I find just staring at a wall mind-numbing!

  3. Hi Brenda - I just re-read your post and saw that you are moving away from a wall. That will be so nice - to work with a view. I'm sure your space will be a nice reflection of your own style. I've always thought it would be fun to have an inspiration board (real-life, beyond Pinterest :). Still have yet to do it... Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! Have a great day... ~julie

    1. Well, the place where my desk top computer is is actually against the wall. But I've surrounded it with other pieces of furniture I had to sort of enclose it. (Make it it's own space) The view is the patio, but not splat in front of it. And so much wonderful natural light!

  4. I always get a lot of home office/craft area ideas from the Where Bloggers Create parties.

  5. I have multiple issues about where my desk has to be. I have to see OUT- TV- and be where the majority of the home is within view.. closed spaces make me anxious. My desk is behind my large sofa which left enough room for 2 matching storage cabinets to hold my STUFF:) they have lamps and décor on top so it appears to be just a large decorated sofa table. I use a laptop , it closes and slips in the drawer of the desk and VIOLA,, all is well and looks good too.

    1. You know I only have a TV in the bedroom. So I don't have to worry about its placement.

  6. Great office inspiration Brenda! I am going to be painting and re-doing my office in the next few weeks so your post was great timing for me!

  7. They all look great!! Looking forward to see your new space.

  8. My desk is in the corner of the family room facing the wall but I have a large window next to me that looks out onto the back porch. It's a very tiny space. I would love a larger work space but that just isn't going to happen right now. I can't wait to see your new office space!

  9. Fun office ideas for bloggers and even for non-bloggers :) I have to admit, I'm enjoying having my desk set so I can look out on the backyard and enjoy the roses that bloom so long in our greater Sacramento area. Tho it can cause a bit of a glare in the late afternoon so then, down comes the curtain. I wish I could say my desk is as neat as all these but.... :)

  10. Lots of beautiful offices with lots of good ideas!

  11. These are gorgeous! Pinned the lot!

  12. I long for a office but I live in a studio with zero room for a desk. I had to give up my antique roll top desk a while ago and it broke my heart. These are lovely but all of these women sure lead luxurious lives to be able to "decorate" like this and have extra rooms for a office! All I can think of is how to people live with all that room and luxury. It must be a wonderful easy life for them.

  13. These are all so cool---we have an office but hubby uses it the most. I prefer to curl up in a chair with my laptop. Sometimes when I'm working on bills or jotting things down it gets a little crazy. Still, I'm good.

Can't wait to see how your new office space looks and works.

  14. Such pretty office ideas. I love the one with the upside down soda crates for the computer monitors. Lots of ideas here.

  15. All of these home offices look great. For the moment I have a comfortable chair and a laptop! It has been working...but not the best perhaps. Ha! Sheila

  16. Beautiful inspirational photos Brenda. We're lucky enough to have a dedicated office in one of our very small bedrooms. Can't wait to see how you will do your space.

  17. I haven't tackled my office nook yet but unfortunately it does not have a view - it's tucked into a corner right next to the utility room. I think I might just have to stick with a laptop I can use in any room - the office space will be simply for files and storage of office supplies.

  18. Oh, I love all of these! I'm still working on my little space and it is so hard to make decisions when there is so much inspiration out there! Can't wait to see your new office space Brenda!! Hugs!

  19. Thank you so much for those inspiration pictures. I'll have to redo or rather to begin working on my home office some day and those were great ideas to steal from.

  20. Wow, those are gorgeous home office spaces!!! Thanks for sharing the inspiration with us Brenda ☺

  21. Brenda,
I love all these office spaces. A common thread is white, white, white! Will you be sharing photos of your office space soon?

I'm back at home in Texas at least until right around Christmas and am trying to catch up what all I've missed from my blogger friends.
