Six On Saturday...Notables Of The Week

I am loving shelves behind couches right now.

And if I lived near the sea, I would love to sit in this room and stare out at the waves.

Just imagine dusk falling outside the window and the sound of water lapping against the shore...

I would choose this very festive cake to celebrate a birthday. How perfect! Why have I never thought of this?

With last weekend's warm weather, when I could blissfully be out on my patio, I am craving spring even more.

I would enjoy this colorful tray to carry iced tea and lunch outside to the coffee table.

I would snip off a sprig of lemon balm and peppermint to add to my glass.

A color that is not just speaking to me, but is also insistently whispering in my ear, is navy blue. There is just something so classy about navy. The color of midnight.

This room, with the round mirror which I also am strongly drawn to, has it all.

To keep you warm on a cold winter night, or to settle into your favorite chair to read a book on a windy afternoon, this hot chocolate would taste delightful.

Add a dollop of cream to make it extra decadent.

Everyone knows how much I love coffee and coffee bars. This one is quite whimsical. Served up in farmhouse style.

It made me smile.

  10. Beautiful features! I have a navy accent wall in my bedroom and mirrors framed in gold on the wall. I've lived here over 2 yrs and haven't tired of it yet. :) The coffee bar is great...love my coffee! There's just no sleep like that near the ocean and hearing the waves roll in. When can we leave?
