  1. Brenda, just to let you know, regarding your "views", if I missed a few days and wanted to catch up I could not find the button for PREVIOUS posts. It seemed to have disappeared. So I gave up and decided I had just missed those. Am I the only to mention this?

  2. You ARE busy Brenda! Can't wait to see what you decide on. I'm looking forward to tackling some projects around here… seems like it's been so long. So, I will live vicariously through your kitchen remodel. Take care and safe DIYing… 😉 ~julie

  7. Brenda,
This is going to be an exciting project and I am looking forward to seeing the results. Israel is a gem and I am so thankful that he has the "know how," for these renovations.
Page views are down for me too.

  8. I didn't see a Read More button when I just now clicked on to read, it's all on one page. The internet has been out and other stuff going on so I haven't been visiting blogs as I'd like lately. I'll be going back to see what I've missed. Can't wait to see your new kitchen redo. I wish I could borrow Israel!

  9. I can't wait to see how this turns out Brenda. I have a few countertops that could use a makeover. So much good info. Make sure you link this gem up tomorrow on THoughts of Home on Thursday. 🙂

  12. You inspire me, as I am one who can obsess for months about even a minor change. I love your "pick up the brush and go at it" approach and need to be more like you. I actually prefer the truncated posts, no problem with a little click on "read more". Hope your views go back up.

    1. Hi Brenda
I always enjoy reading your blog to see what's up at your place. I didn't realize you don't have a stove? Was this your choice? How do you cook?
Can't wait to see the finished product!

  13. The read more option never bothered me one bit. I now have it on my blog as you may know. Hope your views go back up. Why do you think they're down?

I used a similar product on our counters about 8 years ago. They still look good!

  14. Yours is the first blog I read every morning, then I go on to read several more throughout the day. I like it best when when you have photos of your own place, not staged unknown locations! How can we help get your income up? I don't quite know how this works! Do we buy something?

  15. I also have been thinking about Judy! I loved the black checked kitchen, it looked more like you and was so cozy looking, you are a master at changing things.

  16. Exciting things ahead for your kitchen! I don't mind truncated posts at all…you do what you gotta do! Hope the page views go up for You! 😉

  17. I don't mind the read more button…..I consider it part of my exercise for the day…..haha. Looking forward to seeing those counters and how it all comes together. You always have a special touch!

  18. Talking about 2 years since you moved in makes me think of Judy. How is she doing since death of her husband?

You do great things with the small space!

  21. I never understood why bloggers have the READ MORE and then I have to click to read. Now I understand.

I can't wait to see your kitchen all finished.

  22. Can't wait to see how this all comes together, but you are so good at figuring these things out – I know it'll look wonderful in the end. What a wonderful helper and friend Israel has turned out to be for yo

  23. You must have a great landlord to allow all this work…most apartments won't even let you put a nail in the wall. So glad you are able to have things the way you like. It's gonna be sooo pretty.

  24. Let me just say that I'm in love with those cups on the counter. Your kitchen will turn out great – I have no doubt!

  26. Israel is a gem! Send him over to my house if he wants a Texas vacation. I have lots of little projects that I can't get done on my own and have not found anyone here yet to give me a hand. I am looking forward to your finished product.

    Big Texas Hugs,
    Susan and Bentley

  27. Thank goodness you have Israel to help you with your carpentry needs! He has really become so helpful to you. I can't wait to see your new counters and backsplash area once it's done. I bet it will look so good. It's nice that there are products made to give you the look that you're wanting.

  28. I look forward to seeing how this product works. Three makeovers in this kitchen, but all on a budget so its not too bad. I hope your page views go back up!
    hugs,
    Linda

    1. You and me both. Well, I got half the decals from India free for a review. And I got the GianiGranite kit free for review. I guess if I didn't get stuff to review, my kitchen might stay the same for longer!
