Decorate Your Home Without Spending A Dime

When the money is just not there to spend, you have to use your creativity to spruce up your space.

Rearranging your existing furniture is always my first go-to spruce up. This is a good way to gain a new perspective on what you already have.

Change out paintings and wall decor. Do the unexpected. A pretty frame with vintage doilies makes for a really gorgeous look.

Rearrange and style book shelves.

You can also add a little something special to a book shelf to give it some vintage appeal.

Bring in a table from another room and use it as a desk. Give it a focal point by putting artwork overhead and add a light to ground it to your space.

Layer mirrors for instant drama.

Change bed linens and mix them up in color and pattern.

If you don't have a headboard, or even if you do, hang a quilt behind the bed for definition.

Bring out a different collection to show off.

There are so many ways to decorate your home without spending money. Use your creativity and make your home uniquely yours.

  7. Shopping the home is a great idea!
The one I think I rely on the most is rearranging furniture from one room to the other. (though I haven't done this in years!... I'm kind of stagnate lately)
    These pictures give great inspiration.

I love pretty quilts with a passion but I like them folded and stacked instead of on the walls...I love how different us bloggers are and how we are able to share with ea other our likes and dislikes....so so much inspiration and it keeps me hopping, trying new things.:)
