  1. These are all awesome, Brenda! I have an old frame from a dresser mirror that was found in the attic during construction – I saved it in my garage, and you have given me inspiration for it!! I'm still not sure exactly what is going to happen with it, but that painted frame is so lovely!

  2. You'd think that because I've always had to decorate this way that I would prefer something more traditional, but I don't. I like the miscellaneous collected look because the pieces have a story. I love this list. Thanks Brenda!

  3. Wonderful ideas and images Brenda. I love that repurposed mirror idea, especially since I have a mirror must like the one you featured. Hope you find your wooden chest!

  4. Beautiful photos, Brenda! My daughter has a potato wagon and yes, she uses it on the porch to decorate for holidays or just anytime. Halloween decor is especially fun with hay, scare crows, pumpkins, etc.

I learned to sew on one of those treadle sewing machines! 🙂 One of my grandmothers had one and she helped me. First time using it alone, I sewed through my index finger! LOL My dad removed the needle and had me soak my finger in coal oil. Healed perfectly!

    Thank you for sharing!

  5. Love all these great ideas for storage, and I love the old wagon.I'm sure the wagon would be a very expensive find. Thanks and have a great day. We're expecting more rain here in Mississippi but maybe your weather will be great.

  6. I love these very creative storage ideas for some wonderfully unique pieces! I've never been lucky enough to find items such as these. I'll just have to keep looking! Happy Spring Day to you also, Brenda.
