Bumps In The Road

I imagine many of you are under snow right now. Here it is cold, but the sun is shining bright.

The sparrows are squawking and fussing in the bush outside my front door. Oh, I see a cardinal couple in the mix!

I've been made aware that some of you that subscribe to my blog feed are getting, not my posts, but yet another hacker from a foreign country. This is the second time this has happened to me in as many years.

I'm working on figuring that out, so please don't give up on me. Though I suppose if you're one of the ones this has happened to, you won't see this post.

I love blogging. I love connecting with all of you. But I sure don't love it when I have to try to extricate someone else from taking it away from me. Taking my traffic, thus my income.

Yesterday I was beside myself worrying about this because there's not much of a way to fight these people. How to fight someone you cannot see?

So if you're getting www.model-hijab.com on the posts I am sending you, that is obviously incorrect. I will be asking questions of other bloggers and trying to figure out how to do away with this.

Whether this blog matters to you much or not, I promise you I will not stop fighting to keep what I created. Cozy Little House is my baby.

I apologize that this post was much ado about nothing much, but I've got work to do if I'm going to get rid of this foreign blog that is moving in on my territory!

  2. It is so disgusting how many dishonest people there are in the world with no conscience. My elderly mother keeps getting phone calls from people claiming she has won a lot of money, and they string her along trying to get some money from her. Even though she knows better, being through this before, she still holds out hope that she will somehow win a huge sum of money. We all tell her to hang up on them and ignore the calls. She has early Alzheimer's. Very difficult when she forgets short term stuff but remembers clearly things that happened over 70 years ago.

  6. I am sorry for this mess that you are left to clear up. I am not very computer smart, so it would really be a chore for me. I would have to depend on other to help me. But, I am receiving your blog just fine here in Wisconsin today. Don't stress to much, it'll just make you sick with nerves. Someone in blog land will have an answer for you. I wished there was a way to get rid of the hackers. They are really a pain and they must be sick, to get a thrill out of harming others. Take it easy today & it'll all work out for you. We have lots of snow, but also have sunshine this morning.

  15. Not sure how helpful this is, but for what it's worth, I in Arkansas, I am getting updates from you, not the hijab place, and I use Chrome as my browser and I subscribe through gmail. Since not everyone is affected, I wonder if it's related to the browser or email?

    Best of luck to you!

  16. Did you know some trouble makers have also hacked pacemakers? This causes the batteries to be used quickly. Surgery is required to replace pacemaker batteries. Is there a security for internet users? The phone lines are used for both. Good luck.

  36. That kind of person makes me so mad!!! Very sorry to hear this has happened to you again. I read your blog often but don't comment much, but know that I care about you and you are my inspiration to be better at what I do.
Today I got some wonderful compliments on the difference I am making in my two precious little ones lives. It has been noticed by all of the kiddos teachers and they want me to keep these children until the end of the school year at least. Then the social worker came to my house and told me that a person related to the children is making all kinds of trouble and it looks like something really bad and definitely not in their best interest is going to happen! It's been a weird day, but I'm not giving up. Hugs, Cindy
