  1. I think you would miss your outside space living somewhere like that, Brenda! Me, too – plus I would need some separation from the kitchen to bedroom. I hate cooking smells in the bedroom! I do love the tall ceilings, brick walls, big windows, wood floors – all that sunlight!

  2. Beautiful but I'll pass. I have no desire live in downtown Seattle. We lasted 3 months before we had enough. The final straw was being cursed out by a woman who was relieving herself on the sidewalk. We moved to the burbs and my hubby commuted to downtown until he retired. He has tons of stories about things he witnessed.

  3. love all of this! yes I could definitely live there.
I however… do not like the snake lookalike on the coffee table! ewww!!!

  4. A little too sterile for my taste, but I do like the spaciousness. Not a terribly budget-friendly group of furnishings, either. I would like to see more creativity and less $1,000. and up items from high end stores. But, that's just my preference.

I have always imagined that it would be fun to furnish and live in a loft, too. The only thing that would be a major stumbling block for me would not being able to walk out the door onto green grass and have dirt to dig in. Indoor gardening just isn't the same.

But, overall, an interesting little abode.

BTW, how is Abi? I last remember her having a herniated disc in her neck and being in quite a bit of pain. I hope she is doing okay.

  5. I could not live there. It is pretty, very neat and in good taste. Does anyone know what the green plant with the small leaves are on the table by the perfume bottles. I have seen them in magazines and am interested in getting one.

  6. I would miss having an outside space to garden in, and I prefer having separate rooms to sleep, etc. But this is very nice and I love the brick wall. I think I would have liked this a lot when I was a young single woman. Now being older and retired, I prefer my small one level patio house with space to garden. 🙂

  7. I don't want to live in the heart of a city. But I could maybe live in this setting in a small, historic town, provided there was a little balcony for a few plants. I love the clean, uncluttered look of this place.

  8. I thought it would be fun about 20 years ago, but now I am back to wanting a cottage on a tree lined street near shopping and groceries.

  9. Do let us know how your dog is going on Brenda. I do hope he has some relief from the pain.

  10. The loft reminds me of one our daughter had in New York. We lived in Redmond and I miss Seattle; such a fun city. Thank you for the photos, XOXO
