  4. I love all the colors in your bedroom. It is just so cozy. I know that when it snows or rains, your home is just the coziest place to be. I am happy Teri is coming to help you. I was thinking earlier this week that if I lived closer I would offer to do that as well. Wonderful!!!!! May I ask what kind of paint you used on your nightstands? It does not look like chalk paint and I love the finish. Is it just regular indoor paint? Continue to enjoy your cozy space.

    1. I'm probably one of the few bloggers that does not like chalk paint. That paint is Valspar Oregano Green.

  6. Your bedroom is lovely. Love those pretty quilts that abound. Your Abi is very sweet; she looks right at home there. Lovely bed, too and such a whimsical painting of the cows.Enjoy meeting Teri. How very kind of her to offer her help.

  7. Brenda, I think your new bed is perfect for your bedroom with the quilts on the wall and the nod to the farm with the cow paintings. Abi is quite the little performer, isn't she? You have to admit she is pretty darn fetching.

How generous of Teri to come finish up the painting for you. Bless her heart. And fun for you two to meet, too. Things are turning around, girl! Yay!

But how upset is Abi going to be with you leaving the bedroom for meals and other things? Maybe you should do it gradually–just a couple of hours to start and then increase day by day? I'm just teasing–after all, you do pay the bills so Abi and Charlie can have such a beautiful place to live with meals served daily! Not to mention health care included, plus lots and lots of LOVE.

  8. WHAT A RAY OF SUNSHINE FOR YOU, HAVING TERI COME TO HELP. HOPEFULLY WITH HER MUCH APPRECIATED HELP, THE PAINTING WILL GET DONE TODAY.
YOU CAN GET YOUR LIVING ROOM BACK TO NORMAL, AND BE ABLE TO ENJOY YOUR LOVELY HOME IN IT'S ENTIRETY, NOT JUST THE BEDROOM.
YOUR NEW BED IS BEAUTIFUL AND FITS IN QUITE NICELY. LIKE YOU I LIKE THE BIGGER PIECES AS NIGHTSTANDS AND STORAGE.
MISS ABI ROSE IS SUCH A PRECIOUS LITTLE ADDITION TO ANY PHOTO YOU SHARE. MY CRICKET RUNS FROM ANY PHOTO OPPORTUNITY. CAN'T EVEN SNEAK A PIC, WHEN SHE HEARS THE CLICK (as I press the screen) SHE'S UP AND GOING. ALL I GET IS A BLURRED IMAGE.

AGAIN, IT'S WONDERFUL TO KNOW YOUR WALLPAPER ORDEAL IS ALMOST OVER. THANK YOU TERI FOR COMING TO HELP BRENDA, AND THE PRECIOUS PUPSTERS.

    SNUGGLES TO THE PUPSTERS!

I LOVE your bedroom. It is so pretty, cozy, and colorful that it should be in a magazine. Your quilts are such treasures.

    1. I've always considered my bedroom one of the most important rooms to decorate, because we do spend a lot of time in there.

  16. Teri! What a wonderful gift, time is the best present. Having the living room finished will give you peace.

    1. I was concerned about putting the cow painting there because the mirror blandness broke up the vivid quilt colors, but I like it there now.

  17. So glad you are getting some help with your painting Brenda. Love the cow paintings, just wish people would associate them with what you see in the supermarket. I know the penny has to drop and gradually it is happening.

  18. Your bedroom — or is it Abi's bedroom!?! — looks very cozy and charming. There is a lot of symmetry, but enough variation in the décor to keep things interesting and enjoyable. I've always liked how the two nightstands are the same in color but different in style. It's wonderful that Teri is going to help you out with the painting. What a good friend!
