Mammogram & My Glasses Break

Happy Thanksgiving, dear friends!

Yesterday was my mammogram. Every time I have something like this, I get the questionnaire to fill out about my family. Most importantly for this one; your mother, grandmother, aunts, sisters, etc.

I really don't know this info about my family. And I just write that at the bottom and draw an arrow to it.

Just before that, my glasses broke.

Glad I had my new ones ordered. But they won't come in until Monday. So I'll be wearing old glasses that are not strong enough and kind of blurry.

I hope to be digging out my Christmas decor over the weekend. But if my eyes grow weary, I might wait until next week.

Have a happy day! I truly cherish all of you!

  2. The feeling is mutual Brenda, I cherish you too. You truly are like a dear friend. I hope all goes well with your tests.
I too am looking thru old glasses! I really must get my eyes tested and buy some new glasses. I really resent having to pay for them I think that is why I keep on putting it off.
    Have a good thanksgiving.

  5. Enjoy a relaxing day! We have so much to be thankful for, don't we? When I see what lives others must endure in this world, it makes me evaluate my wants as opposed yo my needs.

On a side note, in tge midst of writing the above, it sounded like someone was trying to unlock and open my front door! With my heart thumping, I ran to it to look through the big glass panel. There hung a squirrel from my fall wreath on my door! He then jumped down and sat in a chair right next to the entrance, trying to crack open a walnut. Unfortunately for Mr. Squirrel, it was a fake walnut he had stolen from my wreath. I tapped on the glass panel and he turned and looked at me and ran off with 'walnut' in tow! You can imagine the noise my 2 protector pups made with this attack on their abode. Oh my! The squirrel got onto the wreath by jumping onto the door handle and then up onto the wreath. Cheeky thing! I'm home from school/teaching for 7 days due to the heart procedure I had yesterday. It went well and I only have mild CAD right now (Coronary Artery Disease).
