Insurance company would not have a copy. Agent accesses electronic database for info when client gives VIN # and DL #. It also tells all tickets and accidents. ( I'm a licensed agent.)

Lordy, I'm so jealous of anyone who can sew! My poor Mama did her best to teach both my sister and me but it didn't take with either of us! I do love those flowers. Want to try some of the ones I've seen around the net, but they will definitely be the ones that require any sewing. Hope you find all the info you've been looking for.

Tax Office is the place to go for duplicate of payment for prior years...and perhaps a lien holder will hook you up with a copy of the title.

But man! what a head ache...
hope you get it all worked out. and get to sewing.

Oh no. When I married Joe and changed states, the Georgia license office treated me like I was a terrorist and I had to go back to the house four times for documents. At the time I was the Director of Nursing of a very large state prison,next door, and had just been fully vetted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. It was a terribly exhausting day and I was not happy with the state my husband moved me to. Hopefully you can do better than I did with the registration.

Oh God, that is the biggest headache, Brenda! I'm still dealing with some of that myself. I know that in NY you can go online and request duplicate documentation of some documents. You might be able to do that for Texas DMV. We still have to get our licenses here, but we have to take a written test! You can't just switch over and get one with the new state. I haven't taken a driving test in 30 years! And test questions/answers are different here then in NY so that requires studying the booklet. Yeah, I need this.

There always seems to be a hurdle. BUT once it is over, you say "okay, did that!" And it feels good. I had some issues getting my ex off of accounts since I kept the house....I needed him to make calls and say he was no longer responsible....it was a mess. You will find a way to make this happen and feel good about it when it is done! I promise. ksh

It's not DMV to get your tag renewed in TX, it's the Tax Asssessor Collector's office. DVM is for your driver's license. Your lien holder should be able to give you a copy of your title for proof of registration.
