I too love those dishes and always wondered. I thought they looked like Cath Kidston's.
I have to say, I was never a blue person until I started following your blog. I think I got so tired of that "country blue" that was around awhile back that I thought I didn't like blue but now I think I'm a changed woman! And dishes and ceramics..I was never into them too much and now I can't get enough! What have you done to me, Brenda???? LOL!!

I can see why you love those dishes Brenda, they are so pretty! And I just read that they did a study and found that women who have flowers near their bed so that they can see them when they wake up are more likely to feel positive, energetic, and happy, and the feeling lasts all day! How cool is that?!

I am so happy to see that you treated yourself to this pretty bouquet Brenda. I do love that place setting too. My daughter has it too. She also got hers at Marshalls. I had asked her to go and see if they had more, but she said they sold out fast, because she had gone back for more too.

I think one of the reasons those dishes appeal to all of us is there is something for almost everyone in that pattern. Delicacy, and boldness, pattern and color. They are truly lovely.

PS, I would have picked the flowers over the magazine also. I finally found some pink tulips, now my life is happier, despite the raging snowstorm.

If you google 222 Fifth Ave. New Country, you will see several places that sell it and sometimes, you can find pieces on Ebay. Bed Bath and Beyond has it.
I noticed one place is selling the 16 piece set for $99.00 (plus shipping).
It is such a cheery set....I love it.
I have too many dishes, tho, so can't get any more. :((

Your table looks lovely, and I am so looking forward to your "Thrifty" blogs. I think you might think about sewing aprons. Check out "Stitch In Time" for examples of what you might do. Also maybe buy plain tablecloths and napkins and embellish them with ribbon, rickrack, lace, etc. These are all the things I would love to do if I could sew, but I am hopeless in that area. Enjoy your yellow flowers, they really do cheer things up.
