Dawn Cain

Hi, I’m Dawn from Creative Cain Cabin. I became a blogger after discovering my love of photography. I needed a place to display my shutterbug addiction. My favorite color is purple, and I love anything creative. You could say I dance to my own tun, and don’t care who’s watching. I am super excited to share my space with you and honored to be a part of the “Cozy Little House” team.

Judy Clark

I am a semi-retired Interior Designer who went back to college at the ripe old age of 45 to get my degree in Interior Design.  I have loved doing it and still continue doing small jobs. I have lived in Tulsa practically all of my life.

I have an Etsy shop – 20 North Ora – the same name as my blog.  The name came from my parents one and only home.

I have a real passion for many things:  fabric, sewing, embroidery, painting, decorating, grandchildren, Diet Coke, Flea Markets, thrift stores, Estate Sales and anything vintage – especially dishes.

I could eat Mexican food three times a day seven days a week! Really!! I love to travel and am just about to finish up my Bucket List. Guess I’ll start another one.

Andrea Haywood

Hi everyone, I’m Andrea, and I blog at Opulent Cottage. I live in a 1926 Tudor style cottage in an historic neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. My husband, our teenaged daughter, and two rambunctious cats make my life complete! Decorating, creating, gardening and cooking are my passions. And there isn’t a DIY project that hasn’t been tackled in our 27 years here.

I have a cottage-y, vintage-y, country, and eclectic style. And a knack for finding cast-off items that need a good home. My home is bathed in color and cheer. I decorate madly for each season, and revel in the celebration of every holiday.

Making the most of every day and sharing our home with others is what it’s all about! The Opulent Cottage blog chronicles my latest projects and recipes, which I welcome to my cottage!

Elaine Lewis

Hi, I’m Elaine from Sunny Simple Life. I am a blogger and stay-at-home mom to four daughters. I am blessed with a saint of a husband who handles all the estrogen in our house very well. My kids range from 4-21. So I have had babies in my twenties, thirties, and forties. Crazy, I know. But we are blessed to live in a house full of life and what we call “controlled chaos.”

I blog about life in our Southern California home where I have a prolific organic garden, raise a few chickens, and am always trying to save money. Life is expensive, so while I am at home full time I feel it is my job to save as much of what my husband earns as possible. Frugal pursuits are another hobby. Finding ways to stretch our budget, make things last, and still live a beautiful life is what I am all about.

I am so glad to be a contributor to Cozy Little House, as Brenda is one of my oldest blogging friends, and a mentor to me on all things cozy.

Carol Cook

Hi, I am Carol from Art and Sand – Life in a little cottage by the sea.  My husband is an artist and I am artistic. I love being creative whether it is making a quilt, hand painting a pillow, designing our garden room, painting a piece of furniture or making a book.
I enjoy being physically active (cycling, kayaking, skiing, tennis), COLOR, decorating our home, and living life to the fullest in our little piece of paradise.  I love to travel and visit new places, but I am just as content being at home puttering in the garden.
Brenda will always have a special place in my heart because she was the first person to ever feature me on her blog.  I am so excited to be joining the other wonderful contributors at Cozy Little House. And I look forward to sharing my life on the coast of California. And living in a gallery with ever changing art.

Poppy (Youla Hatzaki)

Hi there, my name is Youla, but friends and family call me Poppy.  Years ago, my daughter, Liberty,  said that when she thought of me, the colour red appeared before her eyes in a delicate and dainty shape, like that of a poppy! And thus, the name of my blog, Poppy View;  my ‘take’ on life, featuring the interior and exterior views from my home, in a quaint little village, in the beautiful countryside of Crete, Greece.

Having studied drama in university and finally getting a degree in English Literature, I travelled to Greece to reacquaint myself with my Greek heritage and, while exploring the  ancient wonders of  Crete, I  became acquainted with my future husband! After twenty-five years of marriage, we teamed up (I designed, he built), our one and only home, here on this magical island in the Mediterranean.
I am honoured to be one of Brenda’s contributors, as this multi-talented and generous lady has helped so many new bloggers get started, myself included. Barely a week old, Poppy View boarded the very unique Welcome Wagon back in May 2012 and I am forever grateful. I look forward to sharing little excerpts of my adventures  in colour and whimsy with you, here, at Cozy Little House, a friendly place in cyberspace that is always welcoming and fun!
