days I live in a patio apartment and mostly garden in containers.
I love to repurpose. Why throw things away when you can give them new life? One woman's trash is another woman's treasure.
I share my home with the pupsters, Abigail Rose and Charlie Ross, two spoiled and silly Yorkies. My children are grown, and the pupsters are my babies. I write about their funny escapades often.
If you like decorating and gardening on a budget, repurposing finds, and being frugal in general, you've come to the right place.
If your goal is to live simply, you've found a like-minded friend.
If you are an avid reader of books, love the simplicity of nature, and happen to be an animal lover, you've arrived at your destination.
If you want to read a blog that is about real life (no holds barred), you have found a blogger who tells it as it is.
Welcome to my blog home. Sit down in my cozy little space, and let's get to know one another.
Will that be iced tea or hot coffee? Would you like something deliciously chocolate? I'm sure I have something in the kitchen, because I love sweets.
Tell me about yourself. Sharing happens to be good for the soul.
Minutiae of my life...
I am a country girl living in the city.
I enjoy lots of solitude.
I have Asperger's Syndrome, which may be why I enjoy lots of solitude!
I love my pupsters, Abi and Charlie.
I have two daughters, Kendra and Kasi.
I have three grandchildren: Riley, Marley & Andrew.
I don't like the color pink.
I don't like loud noises or lots of traffic.
I love to read, and have just discovered my love for the Kindle.
I like to read thrillers and psychological mysteries. I like to read women's fiction. I do not like romances or science fiction.
I am most happy when digging in the dirt and planting flowers and herbs.
I love all of the seasons, for with each of them comes beauty.
I feel most comfortable with my camera, endlessly capturing what I see through the lens.
I have a degree in Professional Writing.
I went to real estate school and finished, but never hung out my shingle.
I like a cozy home filled with many colors.
The color red somehow speaks to me.
I have gone back to my maiden name of Pruitt.
