This is a story about friendship. And yes, gorgeous plush pumpkins. Women who have fostered a friendship across many miles. And share their lives and creativity together. By uniting their skills and inventing ways to help others.
These are the two friends I’m talking about. Their names are Chris Ann and Kristin. And together they formed a company called LoveFeastTable.com. And this is the link to their shop, shop.lovefeasttable.com .
This excerpt comes straight from their website…
“A beautiful life is built of many pieces~the people, things and experiences that inspire us to breathe deep and savor each step in our individual and family journeys. Several, very large steps ago, two friends~Chris Ann & Kristin~found a common passion for highlighting the inspiration they saw all around them. LoveFeastTable was founded on that friendship and exists today to curate beauty for all who would gather around this table.”
A bit about them:
Chris Ann is co-founder of LoveFeastLife, a lifestyle company that focuses on gathering people around tables around the world. She has a BA in Studio Art and Creative Writing. Prior to starting her family, she worked in interior design. Her table happens to be in suburban Minneapolis where she lives with her husband and ultimate host, Todd.
Kristin is also a co-founder of LoveFeastLife. Her table resides in Baltimore and is shared with five children and husband Devon. Devon happens to be an amazing cook and is fond of creating feasts. Their family adventures have taken them all over the world. Where they’ve prepared many meals, listened to many stories, around tables all across the land. Kristin has a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management.
So these women came aptly prepared for their endeavor, as you can see.
They also write a blog. And have a community they share with women just like themselves. Women like you and I. Who honor the tradition of families sitting around tables enjoying their company and sharing meals.
These women know about giving and sharing and spreading the love. There is the saga of The Traveling Cookbook.
(An excerpt from their website:) “The Traveling Cookbook is our project to raise awareness and donations for a LoveFeast Table hosted MobilePack unit for Feed My Starving Children (or www.fmsc.org.) This packing unit will provide 100,000 meals for starving children in the highest needs area of the world. Our goal is to raise the $24,000 needed to provide this unit. We hope you join us in this important and worthy cause! Grab a donation button and share the word!
“To spread the word about the MobilePack goal, we launched The Traveling Cookbook, inviting bloggers to share recipes and stories from their tables, featuring Ree Drummond’s “The Pioneer Woman Cooks”. At each tabletop stop – the bloggers are sharing their time with the cookbook and our goal for a LoveFeast Table MobilePack. We are excited to have Ree’s blessing on this project – as we are “scrap-booking” the pages of her lovely cookbook with notes, memos, and doodling and stories of each blogger’s experience with the recipes they have chosen.”
Amazingly, these two women just keep on coming up with ideas to give to others. On their site they talk about LoveBomb. (Following is an excerpt from their site.)
“LoveBomb: This is the act of preparing, serving and sharing a meal or a morsel with someone you wouldn’t normally. We believe this is an act everyone can participate in. LoveBomb your neighbor, a stranger, a homeless couple, a teacher, a gas station attendant, a young mom…a skater.
We believe when you step out of your comfort zone just a bit, and enter someone else’s world, you will create an experience that will inspire you to live a LoveFeast Life.”

Claudia, from Mockingbird Hill Cottage, and I, are also friends across the miles. We email regularly and talk on the phone, sharing our blogs and our lives. I just hope that someday, we will meet in person. And be sitting together like Chris Ann and Kristin, above, sharing a cup of coffee. Perhaps on Claudia’s front porch swing. While her husband Don sings to us and plays his guitar.
These two women and their values and endeavors struck a chord in both of us. For Claudia and I, two women from diverse backgrounds, we came to find one another through this thing we call blogging.
We were both so happy to discover these two women who give so much to others and who blog about their experiences.
We are happy to announce that LoveFeastTable is generously allowing us to host a giveaway of a trio of their gorgeous pumpkins. I have chosen the trio at the top of the page to give to one of you readers. Claudia has a similar giveaway. So be sure to head on over there from here.
Leave a comment on this post about friendship, and you will automatically be entered in this giveaway. The winner will be announced on Sunday.
Visit LoveFeastTable when you have a chance. And share in this experience. There are pumpkins galore and many other pretties in their shop for you to feast your eyes on.
